I have tried my best not to jinx this... But if there is any truth to Stewart Copeland falling in love with Roo, and getting the Police up for it, then whynot Radiohead? It's well documented that Thom and the guys had a great time at Bonnaroo. Thom actually called it their favorite gig of all time. No conflicting tour dates with Roo....
Yeah, I'm not seeing it. The best I think you could hope for is a Jonny Greenwood or Thom Yorke appearance. However, those are generally site specific occasions and/or charity events.
Well, I think they said they weren't going to play any more live shows/tour until it's done. As much as I really doubt Radiohead, an acoustic show from Johnny and Thom would be amazing. Incredibly unlikely, but still awesome.

Despite the fact that I would love to see it happen, I doubt it will. Simply from a marketing perspective. Having Radiohead play 2 years in a row would require them to take a reduced roll in the billing. Im sure they would still be on the Main, but I doubt Superfly wants to turn itself into a 1 trick pony. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
They've played acoustic shows before, although I think it's only been as a part of a benefit. The videos I found from those shows were excellent, it would be perfect at the festival. I don't think there's a slot they could fit into though.
I don't remember when Radiohead announced their tour for last year, but I want to say that the first few dates were announced in March, which means that their Bonnaroo appearance last year was one of, if not the first show announced for them.
They have said that they will tour for their upcoming album but they haven't specifically said if they will tour before or after the album comes out. I don't remember the details, but they have toured for an album before the album was actually released.
I would LOVE to see them at 'roo again but I just don't see it happening.

wouldn't that be anticlimactic?
Yeah it would. I loved that show but the thing I really liked about it was the fact that they rarely perform anymore. So seeing them live was quite a treat. Not like I'm saying I wouldn't love to see them again, it's just I want Bonnaroo (In my opinion the world's most progressive music festival.) to keep pumping out the variety. Ya dig?

I don't see it happening, though Radiohead has a long history of playing the same festival multiple times (Glastonbury, Werchter, etc). They seemed to have a great time last year, so I think it bodes well for them coming back at some point in the future, but I think '07 is a stretch. I think they will be back at some point in the next 3-4 years. '08 would be likely, as a matter of fact, considering they will probably have a new album out by then.

i would be suprised if radiohead came back again in 07
i think it would be cool if they did, but since the sat. night headline spot is taken, i don't think they could fit their ego into a friday or sunday night spot

I love radiohead and loved last year's show, but I'd be a little annoyed if they did play this year. give it at least one year between headlining sets.
btw - i think the chances of thom coming and playing solo in a DJ tent are better than radiohead or even a johnny and thom duo. and i still think that's pretty slim.
