I have a coachella DVD and their performance was interesting so I got their old album "Odyssey" and the new one "#1", I think they would be a good late night electronic fit. I am a big fan of how it all sounds like it was made with Fruity or Reason in a kick ass home studio, yet still maintains a somewhat organic feel.
Yeah, when I saw their performance on the Coachella dvd, I was scared. They are just a WTF band to me. I'm sure their show is very entertaining, but I probably wouldn't be there.
the cd is alot different than the show imo, sounds like the beats were done by a handful of anticon producers and the android lust drummer, or something to that affect
there's really not much to say other than check out the cds i can't decide which one is better cuz they both have a different sound and feel. You could also compare it to The Knife.
Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.
But yeah, they could definitely fit that late night off center act spot that the Dresden Dolls fit last year. And yeah, there are a lot of other acts I'd rather see there too. Nothing against Fischerspooner. I'd consider checking them out if they did end up at Roo.

I really dig anything that will stand-out at Roo (i'm one of the people who want GWAR added) but, there are so many other electronic acts that i'd rather see (read: BOARDS OF CANADA!) there than FischerSpooner. I did see their Coachella clip and it was definitely interesting but, I don't know if I could handle an entire set of it. If they were scheduled to appear, i'd probably skip-it unless I was just bored or something. And as you all know, It's really, really hard to get bored at Bonnaroo....especially at night!
