My dream lineup would have Pearl Jam coming back to play Sunday of the festival. However, in your (slightly more) realistic format it'll go something like:
Friday:
Pre-headliner: Paul Simon
Headliner: Prince Late Night: Wilco (to draw people away from) Tool
Saturday
Pre-headliner: My Morning Jacket
Headliner: The Police Late Night: Bjork (to draw people away from) String Cheese Incident
Sunday:
Pre Headliner: Trey Anastasio Band
Headliner: The Dead Late night (cuz I'm not leaving 'till mid-Monday): Superjam
Your list is definitely really interesting, although I don't know if I could handle all of the heaviness of Saturday. Tool, Primus, TMV...all would be excellent shows, but in tandem, I think I'd be crushed.

I would love for them to add some latenights to Sunday. It's always depressing to me, watching the last band of the weekend, although if there were more bands playing after the headliner, it would soften the blow tremendously.

I would definately love this. That's about as close to perfect as you could get, IMO
with the current additions of claypool, galactic, honeytonk homeslice, and martin sexton i think wakarusa already has my dream lineup. id trade wsp for some dead but other then that its perfect. i dont see how roo can compete with that lineup. cant wait to see what they have for us!!

Ill second that. Wakas lineup looks pretty good right now. Roo just knocks it off the table because they regularly put out lineups just like that with 4-6 big name headliners on it.
We all know Les will be at Roo this year....... But will Ler and Herb be with him?

Man, thumbs up to all you people with the MMJ leading into Neil Young headlining. That would be amazing, especially if Neil was brave enough to bring MMJ out to jam with him. It wouldn't be directly passing the torch, but there would be a lot of symbolism of past, present, and future.
PZilla, I also like your Friday late-night. I think those three artists would be really unique together, although I think I'd throw Damien Rice between Primus and TMV, just so I could chill out for a while.

I totally forgot about Neil. I guess Im just a little burnt out on him after last year. Saw him play 4 or 5 times, but I dont think I can ever get enough of seeing that guy play. The Greendale shows are still the most unique and engaging shows Ive ever seen. Greatest thing about seeing Neil at a festival is that he has absolutely no reserves on playing with other artists. He actually seems to thoroughly enjoy it.

Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, interesting choice. I don't know much of their music, but I caught a little of their set at ACL and it was alright. They're worlds away from pre-headlining, though, which should make you happy. Less of a crowd!
