So apparently Al Green's been collaborating with ?uestlove for his new album. This would be perfect for Bonnaroo. I'm not quite sure how Green hasn't played Bonnaroo yet and the Roots are rumored as a strong possibility

I love Al Green.

Hell yeah! That would be awesome. I only heard Al Green one time a few years back and it was an amazing show! ?uestlove is the man! Hope it happens!

The whole article is about how ?uestlove is trying to keep Al from doing music with young hot artists, and instead go back to his old sound.
That being said, don't expect to see Al green fronting the Roots anytime soon.

Everyone should check out and album called "Almatic". It's Nas and Al Green. I don't listen to that much hip-hop, (Which isn't to say I don't like it.) but this is SOOO SICK!!!

I don't think anyone's talking about Al fronting the Roots. It's more like ?uestlove doing instrumentation for a live Al Green show...
