Cirque du soleil has a show called Love A beatles tribute and a revolution lounge they could recreate the lounge for Roo .I guess its a Beatle interactive? Hell why their at it might as well have McCartney play as part of the alimony tour ;D
i saw a musical tonight. it was terrible! i would never want to see it at a festival.
actually the best part was these people behind us. after act 1 (during intermission) they thought the show was over. they kept saying to each other "wow i can't believe this. it had no climactic parts whatsoever. it must be a new modern musical where they don't come out and bow. why is everyone still in here? they must not realize that the show is over..or maybe they're waiting to meet the actors."
i thought there was no way they could be serious until they left and never came back throughout the whole second act.

Yeah plays musicals dont do it for me. I love the Who Seen em several times) so someone convinced me to go to Tommy. It was a bloody nightmare. terrible. I have to say the cirque du soleil show I saw in Vegas was amazing. (mystere or something) I thought when I walked by the solar stage last year they had a couple little skits goin on but there was too much good music to be heard to stick around.
I don't know about musicals, but more burlesque and circus type acts would definately be cool. Did anyone check out the bindlestiff circus last year? Cool shit.

I got there late and missed it. I'm sure it was kickass with the Dresden Dolls, though!

The Yard Dogs Road Show at Vegoose was pretty awesome. Total cabaret/burlesque thing. That would be cool at Roo.
A regular musical would suck at Roo. It needs to be alternative.
Any Cirque de Soleil show would be dope at Roo. Preferably a more psychedelic or sexual one. They would have to have their own tent dedicated to them, as they have quite elaborate setups.
Blue Man Group would be cool too.
De La Guarda in NYC a few years back was awesome too. They too would need a dedicated tent because of their high-flying theatrics.

I've heard the beatles show wasn't all that good, but i've heard the delerium show that they did last year was stellar. Like a psychedelic approach to the music of cds.
The Beatles Love show is awesome, but I think it can only be done in a proper theater, not a temporary tent setup at Bonnaroo, because of all the technical production elements.
