Yeah, I listened to about half of it, and had to have the friend turn it off. I really hate their style, I don't really have a reason, their sound just grates me. I'm definitely not conservative, and my dislike it based entirely musically, but it felt like they just got sympathy votes for their political "problems."
^^I'm with you on the Chicks, isaac. I mean, they're better than Shania Twain, but bastardized country pop is bastardized country pop no matter what the political leanings might be. Give me Steve Earle or Willie Nelson any day over the Chicks.

Ideally a good point. For me though, I definitely think that St. Elsewhere and Continuum are much better albums. Also, them winning song of the year over "Crazy" was...hehe. I know it's overplayed, but still, 2006 will always be known as the crazy year.
I completely agree with song of the year, but disagree with those albums. St Elsewhere has some really great tracks, but isn't all that good as a whole. Continuum shows growth for Mayer, but it's still that same old dull pop style he's been doing his entire career. But that's just my opinion.

wow what do you think this means? If the Boston show is in July either Roo will be the first show or not in the mix. Either way is big news. Anybody know the timing of the press release today? I though they sounded energized last night. Now if they could just play Roxanne 50 times in a row.

I just noticed they aren't coming close to Nashville or Atlanta. I think that is definitely a big boast for Bonnaroo. I thought i read somewhere that big acts can't play a certian radius from Bonnaroo for a certain amount of time.
The reward zone dates are all over the place chronologically -they aren't even in reverse order. So far (with what few dates are attached) they do have a hole during Roo...
