(What would you say if I told you I was married to a colored person??)
I didn't place you as a racist at all until you said that. Where I come from, only racists call people 'colored'...black or mexican, arab or whatever, they're all called colored - it really is an ignorant word to use. Of course, that's just where I come from.
This message is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty, and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects.

Well if I had called her a Pacific Islander (which is what she is) would the statement have as much impact???? Probably not.
As I said, you can "think" what you want, but i am the least racist person you'll ever meet in your life.
Truth be told, I am probably more racist toward my own race than any other!!!
I would take then or leave them personally. I saw play Field Day and they were just not that good. They messed up 3 times during the set just because they were having miscommunication with Mix Master Mike on the table.
That was one of there first shows in almost 3 years at that point, so they were a bit rusty. If they played I might check them out to see if they can redeem themselves.
I saw them on the Hello Nasty tour in 98. AWESOME. I also saw them in 2004. It was the show where they filmed the DVD Awesome I Fuckin' Shot That (I was one of the camera people). The show was tight.

That sounds like a good story.
Beasties would be great, but I think that they are in that in between stage where they really cant headline a festival right now, but I can't see them opening for anyone either. Although a late night set sounds interesting, I dont think that would happen either.
Anyways, its all about Paul's Boutique. Bar none one of the most influential albums of all time.

I've never seen them live either, but i've heard it's one of the best shows you'll ever see. They rhyme, play instruments (well) and have a mad stage-presence. I think they would draw one of the biggest crowds yet and I would be right in front. Not being one of those bands that constantly tour, this would be lots of folk's first (maybe only) chance to see them live. People will probably either gripe about their commercial success or accessabilty, but the fact remains that they are an excellant musical act. A band that not only helped reshape hip-hop, but also played very important part in the alt-rock rebirth of the early 90s. Love them or not, it's hard to deny their integral place in musical history. They have been vital in the evolution of so many different types of music and can really back it up.
