Sparta (other half of At the Drive In) Portishead (rumors of them reuniting...great late night) Morrissey (great headliner opener a la Beck) Jet Polyphonic Spree Gogol Bordello The Giraffes Fiona Apple Cranberries (are they even a band anymore) ...and you will know us by the trail of dead
I saw her open for Coldplay and she was really good. At first I was wary, but eventually it grew on me and her music really did well in the arena setting.
However, I have heard some pretty crazy things about her, and she is a bit wild on stage (does a bizzare scream/dance off mic)

Some of the bands that would make me feel as giddy as a schoolgirl would be... George Clinton, The Mars Volta, Gorillaz, Boards Of Canada, The Scissor Sisters, Har-Mar Superstar, Rainer Truby Trio, and Coldcut. I think that any of these acts would be fine additions to any line-up. Also, I think that a late-night DJ "battle" would be incredible. In the past, people have griped about the handfull of DJs and electronic artists that "just don't belong", but does anyone remembers the massive crowd the X-men (Xecutioners) attracted in '04? True, it wasn't a "concert" in the traditional sense, but it never pretended to be. It came across as a end-of-the-day party and it was really alot of fun. I think everyone who attended would agree. Anyway, that's my wishlist. Maybe it's unrealistic, but I'm crossing my fingers.

Rose Hill Drive! I'm listening to these guys playing Machine Gun from NYE, and it's just stunning. If they were to give them a late-night spot and they recreated their NYE show I'd be beyond happy.
It'd be awesome to see Coheed there. Anyone who passes them off as the teeny bopper crap that the singles they put out may make them appear to be is denying themselves some great music (That sentence made no sense, but oh well)

I think I understood. They probably won't ever be at 'roo in the near future, but they played like a 20 minute jam last time I saw them. You wouldn't think they'd be such a great live show from what you hear on the radio.
A late night Portishead show would make me very happy(ever hear their live in NYC album). The Reverand Horton Heat The Butthole Surfers A Pogues reunion DJ Shadow Sunny Day Real Estate

I would also love to see The Good The Bad and the Queen. That cd is pretty awesome.
Daran Albarn sounds pretty good from what i've seen. I have the demon days gorillaz dvd, and its definatly a pretty sweet show. Very tight, and he sounds great.

SUPPER FURRY ANIMALS!!!
ya'll know they would bring the house down at roo. Also, Gruff showed up last year and sang with conor, also performed a solo version of hello sunshine. Anyways, I love these guys...they're way good musicians and WAY psychedelic. I know they aren't big in the states but they would be an awesome act for bonnaroo. If you haven't yet listened to these guys check out 'phantom power' 'rings around the world' or 'love kraft.'
