*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
They dont like to share headliners with Coachella. Both Festivals seem to try to one-up each other, for the moniker of "Best American Festival". I wouldn't mind seeing RHCP, but there would definitely be a been there done that feel, especially since they have played Coachella twice and headlined Lollapalooza last year.
Red Hot Chili's put on a good show this year, but to be honest I'd be thoroughly disappointed if they were at Roo. Not that they don't have the vibe, they just don't have The Vibe. Know what i mean?

Just imagine being the promoter of a major US festival and trying to find 3 bands that will draw a large enough crowd to make a profit. Do you go with the band that will be playing at your biggest competition just two months earlier and also tours constantly or do you draw from the dozens of other possibilities out there to try and find an artist that makes people say "Damn. I was gonna go to Coachella this year but with ______ at Bonnaroo I think I'm going to go spend my money there".
My roommate saw them on Saturday night in Cincinnati. He said the music was great, but Kiedis had absolutely zero interaction with the crowd. Did not say one word the entire concert that was not a lyric. Meh.

i actually dont mind listening to a few songs every now and again, but they just arent a bonnaroo band. I would definitely rather see Panic, Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's, or soooo many more.
