They haven't played since '03. They would be an outrageous late night show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for the ineup. I keep having dreams about the b'roo
I enjoyed them at Austin City Limits this year, although the crowd was so big it wasn't the full experience. If there was something good against them I think I'd go to that instead, you'd have to wait forever to get a good spot.
There are a lot of bands I would miss just to wait for a good spot.
That's the one thing that I miss about the demise of the pit. You could just show up and bounce your way to the front -- and not be acting like those jerks who decide that it's okay for them to just push their way through the crowd because they want to be up front. 'I'm sorry, did you think the rest of us wanted to be standing a hundred yards from the stage? Why didn't I think to just push everyone else out of my way? Oh, wait I did and decided that it would be RUDE!'
Sorry, I got a bit worked up for a moment. I hate selfish people, though.

They are musical visionaries and excellent songwriters, but to be fair they aren't incredible players (with the possible exception of Drozd). It doesn't surprise me that their live show doesn't change much.
