This is from Jonathon Mayers, the President of Superfly
Bonnaroo VI is set for June 14-17. A limited allotment of "a few thousand tickets" went on sale at the end of 2006 and sold out quickly, before any acts were announced. Mayers expects the 2007 lineup to start being announced by the end of the month.
"It's a diverse lineup, strong throughout," says Mayers. "We're really excited about some of the new artists that haven't played the festival, and I think there are going to be some surprises that no one else has. Each year we try to raise it a notch, present different artists and expand what Bonnaroo means."
I'm going nuts over this lineup. I thought the artists lineup would be announced like 2 weeks after early bird tickets, biy was i wrong. I mean come on you know they have almost everybody all ready lined up
Mayers says he and his partners are working on a master plan with architects, with improvements probably to take place in certain phases. "A lot of the infrastructure that we've brought in temporarily, whether it's power, water throughout the facility, permanent bathrooms, roads, even some of the actual staging, we're definitely planning to put in permanently," he says. "We're going to plan it very carefully to give us the flexibility to host several events out there. We want to make it one of the premier venues in the world."
Hopefully they'll start building immediatly, so they can have an incredible amount of bathrooms, water, and showers avaliable in June. Doubtful, but hopeful. How incredible would it be to go to the bathroom in a real toilet at bonnaroo and take a shower everyday. My mind just exploded. I love Bonnaroo :-)

As great as that sounds when you think about the cost of building that, and the potential lost revenue from VIP tickets, I'm afraid what a regular ticket will cost.

Yea the ticket cost might go up.....but he said they want to host other events which would help pay for the stuff. Heck, who knows maybe the gained revenue from other festivals would lower ticket prices lol YEA RIGHT!! But I dont think the bathrooms and showers will cost us or at least i hope.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I wouldn't worry too much about the cost going up, remember that they don't have to pay rent now...

well they didnt give them the farm. and someones gonna make that mortgage payment. hmmm. i wonder who it could be. my guess is us. and the yearly payment has to be many times more then the cost to lease the placw for a couple weeks.
