I definatly dont think so, but i dont listen to them. From what i've heard they'd be a bad fit at roo, just a mainstream alt rock band, theres no hook.
i agree that they probably are a bit to mainstream sounding for a good roo act, but they do have a pretty strong following from their first two albums before they went "sellout". just a thought.

I don't know if I would class them as mainstream. I don't even know many people who even know what kind of music they play. They seem to have their own kind of cult following. Either way, they do an awesome live show and in my opinion would be a welcome addition.
the incubus that i like would be an odd fit at 'roo, but i liked them back when they were doing fungus amongus and s.c.i.e.n.c.e - i refuse to even listen to the new album but i get the feeling it'd fit in with some of the other acts at bonnaroo.

Im not gonna turn my back after this long. I liked everything a lot up to the last 2 albums. However, I did find myself listening to it a lot. Ben Kenney has a lot of talent on bass. I think they would be a good fit where Volta was in 05 but then again I want Volta this year in that same spot. I just think they have a lot of talent all around and can really jam out and would probably garner a larger crowd than you would think.
I definitely thought they were big enough to headline, but I guess it was an example of the different parts of the country. Here they are bigger than just about anyone else who has headlined Bonnaroo. I'm would consider myself a fan, and on the live videos I've seen they sound amazing. I'd be happy if they played 07, but I won't be expecting it.
Please for the love of god, no. I've seen em. Unimpressive. Their new album. Unimpressive. I've tried so damn hard to like them but I can't. Props to those that can. I liked S.C.I.E.N.C.E but since then, downhill, IMO.
Saw em in 98, opening for Far. I'd say they were a roo band back then with their dreads and bongo salvos but right now, not really. They're a better fit for Lolla or Coa.
There are a lot of bands people are naming (and bands that have played roo), that should be at at lolla or coachella, and not Roo. I dont want to see Roo turn into Lallapaloza or coachella.

I agree with everything you said. I've seen'em, back in 2000 or 01, and I didn't like them ... please no Incubus at 'Roo!

i saw that same tour here in Chicago, it was Far, Ultraspank, Incubus and Soil.....great show....Far was phenomenal.....I miss Far..........speaking of Far, Jonah Matranga would be a great addition to bonnaroo.
