Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Live it's a different experience than their records. I heard them live before their recorded stuff and I would say it's the difference of an A to a C grade. You'll appreciate them more live.

Thats awesome, because i give all their albums a's. Whats really cool was when i saw them play a song on Conan a lot of the stuff that you'd think could be effects arent, the guy just really has a crazy voice.

I have wanted to see them for two years now and have just never gotten the chance. I might pee my pants if they do show up on the initial lineup for the Roo. Ambulance is one of my favorite songs of all time.
i saw them open for NIN last summer. I'm interested in how Ambulance would translate live.
They used to close with it every night. They've dropped it from their setlist as of late foregoing their older organic sound for more of a straight up rock sound (as straight up as TVOTR can possibly be).
I'm not holding out my hopes for a TV on the Radio appearance at Bonnaroo unless they're really wanting to do all the festivals. They're probably going to play Coachella cause it's geared towards their style. Bowie's got a festival in NYC this year as well, so I have little doubt they'll be there. As much as I hate to say it, Bonnaroo just doesn't really fit in my estimation...

FWIW, They played Coachella last year, and Coachella usually does not do too many repeat performers in back to back years, so I think that they might be likely to play at the Roo.
It seems like they have not really toured for the last album, other than being the opening band for NIN. So hopefully they are going to do a headlining tour soon (and preferably make a stop in Atlanta) or maybe do a festival tour circuit with Roo, Sasquatch, Street Scene, Bowie thingy, etc.
But I do agree that they are more of a Coachellesque band. But so were Beck, Radiohead, Mars Volta, etc....
Ya id definetly be down with Tv on the Radio playing. Ive recently gotten really into them. Return to cookie mountain is one of the best albums released this year, in my opinion.

Sorry if thats confusing, i just copied it off their site. I'm psyched that they're playing columbus, but im afraid that such a heavy tour schedule will have them recovering during bonnaroo. Hopefully they can put on one more show.
