I know people will think Im crazy but she was my favorite of roo. I got there early and was able to get right up front. I asked my wife what she thought about taking her as a second wife.( watched too much big love) She probably wouldn't be home alot (on the road ) but we could deal. Would love a chance to see her again. Im not a fashion guy but a sundress and big rubber mud boots is hot. she chucked a boot out into the audience at the end. I was bummed I missed dumpstafunk.

I am a new and big Grace Potter fan, since I heard her on World Cafe and saw her at Mountain Jam (you can download a lot of her shows at archive.org). She was a must-see and she did not disappoint. I told my wife that I will not be surprised if she breaks out within a couple of years.
If you do download any of her shows, definitely grab the Wakarusa show. She did a bunch of stuff I haven't heard from other shows, and just rocked her a-s-s off.
I didn't go( should have) but I downloaded the recording and sounded like one of the best shows that weekend. I highly recommended to give the roo show a listen if you haven't already.

I made it a point to drag my ass out of our campsite for her crack of dawn (12:15pm) show at roo. After Radiohead it was probably my favorite set. Awesome talent! She is going to have a huge future. Too bad she had an early Sat show after all the late Friday night greatness beacause the tent wasn't even filled to capacity. Plus she was up against The Magic Numbers who clearly have the media attention this year. Didn't matter though. They gave a show that felt like it was a 2am MMJ RAWK show. I can't say enough great things about them and I look forward to seeing them for years to come at festivals and on tour.
For such a young woman she has amazing power in her voice. Very impressive and exciting.
I've heard nothing but positive things about her! I listened to one of her shows from archive.org (forget which one) and was impressed. Such a powerful voice for someone so young! I have to look for more, she's going to get big...
What I heard of her set at All Good I was digging. She only got a 30 minute set and it was right before Umphrey's so I was busy getting up front for that but what I could hear was really good.

I heard she was pretty good there too.. so how was All good?!?! I really wanted to go
ya it was also near the top of my roo shows. the allgood sow was dissapointing. but not through any faul of their own. i didnt want to give up my umphreys spot. and they played songs from roo but didnt have jam them as much due to the time slot. but i will take grace and the nocturnals anywhere i can get em. i have a feeling i will be seeing them at many festies in the future. i think they are going to be getting much better spots in the schedule soon. they sure deserve it.

Grace was amazing! Had a heads up on her prior to Roo and was not disappointed. Dragged my campmates and neighbors to the 1230 show. She was the highlight of Roo for this camper, if any one has the sonic stage set would love to get hear that too. Counting down till next year.
grace was definitely one of my highlights of roo as well! i had heard so much about her over the course of the last year, and i was highly curious especially after they won best new groove at the jammys. i thought the all good set was stellar for what it was. of course there wasn't too much jamming due to time, but they still brought the heat and rocked that stage! i brought some of my friends right up to the rail with me and they were instantly converted into grace fans!! got tons of pics from the rail, but my silly camera won't upload any pics right now....man, she's hot! she's definitely one of my favs right now...
And her encore of "Farmer John" ("I'm in love with your daugher....") got my attention. Maybe a hidden message? Maybe just a rock chick stirring up a way old classic for the fun of it? I love that total f-it attitude she has.
