I dont know how many other people saw this show, but I thought it was my favorite one at bonnaroo. He was just absolutly amazing and put the usual funk based jam bands to school.

Is there anyway to get a recording of this show?????????????

He was in full Night Tripper regalia. Look it up. It's pretty out there. Plus, there were people at the Dr. John concert that I hadn't seen all festival. So the whole vibe was kind of tribal backwoods funk fest which was...well, weird and cool.

You are exactly right, they brought the funk like nobody i have ever seen and it not a hard crazy funk, but more a slowed down back beat funk that sends chills up my spine.....

To me this was hte show to be at...

I just really need to find a download, also me and my buddy saw the goat they had onstage plus hte reverand playing that harp instrument at some random rest stop......

I gotta agree with that! It was indeed strange... and a totally different vibe from any other set of the weekend, like dudezer here said. I loved every second of it and was very glad I got to see a legend at work on stage.

I'd have to say that Dr. John's set was the most fun I had that whole weekend.

I agree that we need a tape of this set STAT!
