funny story:
On saturday i camped out all day for a spot on the rail right by the handicapped spot for radiohead, and during beck these weirdos came in the handicapped area and started dancing and smiling. I was so surprised becuase one of the girls had tattos where her eyebrows should be. Later on I asked the guy next to me "who were those guys?" and stated "they didn't look disabled to me" he said "they're the dresdon dolls, an extremely popular band, and they got kicked out eventually" I was pretty surprised I was 2 feet from this band and didn't know.
I haven't heard anything besides the single, but I really like it. I'm hesitant to buy the whole album, I'll have to listen to their Bonnaroo set. Superjam took priority...

Yeah That was a great set, they were really happy to be there, you could tell. I hope a recording gets up, unfortuntaly I think the tapers may have went to other shows. I dont remember seeing any mics, but I could have and not even noticed.
I've been racking my brain trying to figure out if there was anyone taping it. I honestly can't remember. I'm betting no due to the fact that I was in front of the sound board and don't remember seeing a stand. Also the circus was before them and I'm sure most tapers left after balken beat box if they weren't at superjam or Dr. John.
That's a shame. I wonder if they'll be on any Bonnaroo CD or DVD compilation. Their website is pretty cool, I looked around and didn't even find a mention of Bonnaroo.

SOMEBODY GET ME A BOOTLEG!!!!!!! If you are hesitant to buy their album just Download Half Jack. All I remember is the energy of that song live and the ending being amazing
I wish I went, but after waiting around for 8ish hours for Radiohead I just didn't have it in me to get over there. I have seen them in concert though and they were amazing, but from what I heard about the set I missed out this time.
if you're from lex and you dig the dolls you should check out a thing called pan9. its this multi media artist compound in allston that throws great shows/parties with all the most bizzard cutting edge stuff in performance art, its pretty underground adn they try to keep it unpublisized but they put info on their website (pan9factory.org) the day of each event. Its where the dresden dolls played their first show, and i beleive lived for a while.
