I saw Corn Mo there, he gave me his cell phone number. And after the show I said "hey didn't you open for Ben Folds on a tour once?" "yeah" "well, looks like you're doing it again..." and I pointed to the Which stage where Ben Folds was starting just as Corn Mo ended. "Is that Ben? I had no idea he was playing now!" Corn Mo replied.
Then during "Rockin' the Suburbs" Ben Folds sang "Just like Corn Mo... I'm rockin' the suburbs!" After Ben Folds I called Corn Mo, he called me, etc until my friend finally got the Corn Mo shirt he wanted.
moonshine still tore sh.it up!!!!!! that was an awesome show. although i waited for an hour at the damn sonic stage only to find out it was at roo music lounge. i hated missing the beginning of toubab krewe but damn that moonshine set was badass
Did anyone else catch Garage DeLuxe there on Sat. late-night? That place was lit-the-fuck-up. I only stayed for a couple songs, but geez, I was suprised the tent was still standing the next day.

Moonshine Still definately rocked my Thursday night. I really like their new drummer. He is a bit more busy than their original drummer, however I believe that he is finding his own in the band and adding his own flavor to the sound.
Corn Mo was a pleasant surprise for me. That guy is a.)really talented and b.)funny as hell. I really dug the drumstick shoe and splash cymbal that he played at the climax points of his songs.
Garage DeLuxe, like a said before the fesitval, took the tent by storm. Those guys had one of the biggest sounds that I have ever heard. The organist definately has the Gregg Allman thing going on and the drummer has a voice that sounds like a mixture of Levon Helm from the Band and Warren Haynes. They had the crowd whipped up into a frenzy. I definately can't wait to see them again!
Excited...you aren't from Snellville, GA are ya? I also jammed to Tishamingo and then stayed for the Avers Bros...it was incredible. Also met some guys from Snellville which is 10 miles from where I live and they were a bunch of party animals.

Nope, only time I have been to Georgia was driving to Florida and on the way to roo.
im surprised the troo music thing was still operational after moonshine still tore it down. i hated missing the beginning of toubab but that moonshine show was well worth it
I saw some of Nug Jug there on thurs and they were pretty great. Also saw Mitch Rutman Group sunday for a couple songs and really enjoyed them too. The shows in the lounge seem to always be solid (although I really didn;t see a show that wasn't at least good the whole weekend)
