Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
also be warned that a lot of those spray sun blocks can turn white an awful yellowy color.
They also stain swimsuits, no matter the color...I have ruined many a child's expensive swim team suits that way. That might not be true for all brands, we've always used Coppertone Sport spray and that definitely stains.

I'm not sure this has been answered, so my apologies if it's a been there, done that topic.
I plan on bringing my camelbak, but I got a really small one. I don't think it will hold everything I need (sunblock, camera, phone, tp, baby wipes, meds, first aid needs, goodies, etc.) I'm trying to figure out what is best as a secondary bag. I'm thinking a sling type cross-body, but I really don't want some giant messenger bag. Lesportsac has some cute ones, but I'm really nervous about the straps chafing my sensitive skin if I'm hot and sweaty. Anyone know of any cute, hippie chic bags that have a padded strap?
A little late of an answer but in regards to dry shampoos, I occasionally use Not Your Mother's brand. Its an aerosol spray and works really well but the can doesn't seem to go very far. But it should atleast last through Roo. I plan to take some since my hair gets very oily.
Also, I keep seeing ladies mentioning the P Style. I checked out the website and maybe I just need to see one in person but I don't get how it works, like where does the pee actually go?? Sorry if thats a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time visualizing. If it really works well then I might consider getting one.
its sort of like a scoop. to be graphic, you pee into the big part of the scoop and then direct it away from your body and clothiing with the "spout" end. the worst part is having to have something on you in the porta to clean it. tp alone wont work that well on it. you can wipe it with tp and then put it in a plastic bag then go to the wash station and wash the bag and the device and then restore it. sorry to be gross but i couldnt figure a flowery way to explain it
right now you can get a diva cup and a pstyle for a reduced rate on their site.
for those in nashville you can buy the diva cup or see it at the green wagaon. they may have pstyle - not sure

Thank you!!!
I've used my hot pink Le Sport Sac at other festivals without any problems, the strap is wide enough where it alleviates most of the problems. The key is to only take in things you will absolutely need so it is as light as possible. Also, switch the arm you have it slung over often. I plan on using a vintage leather saddle bag style cross body, it hasn't given me any problems in the past.
Last year wearing a hat saved my life. All my friends got gnarly blisters on their nose and shoulders and I came home a little pink. I took a floppy hat last year and while it was awesome for shading me, it was a pain to keep it from flopping down in my face so I could see. Anyway, I ran into Dollar General the other night and they have some really cute straw hats with either a pink, blue, or leopard print sash. REALLY cute and only $4. Thought I would pass it along!
I wonder how expensive they are. They look pretty cool and I'm hoping by being a volunteer, I can get there early to buy 1 (if it's a reasonable price which I doubt)

What are these Bonnaroo pendants I hear of? I think I'm dumb today; couldn't find anything about them anywhere else. Sounds awesome, but I'm afraid they're going to end up being way more money than I can spend on them.

I saw them on facebook on the "Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival" page. Not sure if you can see them anywhere else.

So you know how I wasn't going to buy any clothes for this year? Well, I was in Florida with my girlfriends and we went looking for a new bathing suit for one girl and I was practically FORCED to buy a tie-dye maxi dress at Ross and a short navy cotton eyelet dress at Target. Held down, gun to my head, the whole bit.
I also MIGHT have bought a hat and a couple pairs of fun earrings at Torrid the weekend before.
But everything can be worn IRL, so it doesn't really count, right?
That's how I justified my Roo dresses.. They are cute with a cardigan or summer blazer so they are really just my shopping for this summer. So far this summer I've bought about 12 dresses for $60 total at Ross and various thrift stores... Not too unreasonable.
And that pendant made me decide to try and make my own out of black clay.. One black for a boy and maybe one with silver metallic coating for me?? I know I won't be able to afford that one, and I have clay already.
I am almost officially done with shopping... I hope... What's your take on tinted lip balm? I like to use Burt's Bees a lot but if it's gonna melt in the heat, I'll just look washed out.
I love the necklace but I'm expecting it to be over a hundred dollars as well. The feedback on the Facebook page was kind of pissy wasn't it? I wonder if your local jeweler would be able to make one for you? It wouldn't be numbered but the price would likely be the same.
Last year I used a lip balm with a string SPF and then put gloss over it. The gloss didn't stay all day.. It wore off a little faster than normal, but it had to wear off before my the full benefit of the SPF did.. So it helped my lips not get burned. I think I also used CG tinted moisturizer with an SPF over sunscreen and maybe even set it with powder because that would help keep even the sunscreen set. I'm pretty sure I used a waterproof mascara and eyeliner while I was at it just because it wasn't much more effort to do it... But yeah, to protect myself from the sun I took advantage of make up products over my sunscreen. I never expected them to stay, but I didn't really get burned bad at all and that is MAJORLY rare for me.
If this link works, it's to my rough draft of a pendant.. I didn't take much time in this.. Just wanted to see what it would be like to try and make, and I would have to sand and buff it to make it look much more finished.. And maybe add a silver coating.. But it looks like I'll have myself a poor man's version of that awesome pendant after all.
Haha.. I could sell these I suppose. I was just thinking about making them for myself because I liked that one. If anyone was actually interested I could perfect my technique and figure out a fair price. (not saying that whatever the artist wants to sell his/Her's for won't be reasonable because they are awesome and the craftsmanship is far better than anything I could produce, but it is just probably more than I can afford)
And that is a good point.. I'm guessing that it is trademarked.. So I would have to look into that.

Yeah, I was thinking of trying to make some sort of Roo pendant to sell you girls, but I ended up deciding it wasn't a good idea to use the logo in something to sell on Etsy. I am going to make something for myself, though, and if I come up with anything good I can probably hook you ladies up - I kinda doubt they would care about the trademark if I was just giving them away and not making money.
