well well well what an appropriate thousandth post!! presenting to the world the See You in Starlight festival at the Gorge! this fest takes place over the peak weekend of the Perseids meteor shower so you’ll be stargazing all weekend while jamming out with some of the biggest rock stars.
we’ve already had some dropouts unfortunately:
1. Blondshell, mewithoutyou, Saves the Day, and Strfkr have Visa issues and are currently being held hostage at American Express until they switch over to a new credit card
2. Young the Giant’s Sameer Gadhia got so hot he melted his bandmate’s faces off
3. Teen Jesus, Tears for Fears, and Illuminati Hotties have drowned in letters from Brazilian fans asking them to visit
4. Franz Ferdinand was the archduke of Austria and was assassinated on June 28th, 1914. his ghost was not able to perform this year
5. Eliza and the Delusionals and Stand Atlantic are unfortunately down with the sickness. we wish both bands a speedy recovery
which means some artists are now getting longer set times! schedule to come soon. in the meantime:
I went ahead and voted but I didn’t pay attention until this round. I guess it’s a very loose interpretation of rock metal and punk. I had a Tycho t shirt on yesterday and love him and his live band. Not metal punk or rock even in a stretch. Lana. M83. Sigur Ros. Charli XCX. Some other acts more pop or ethereal.
Tranter has the most overall rock lineup.
I was looking for top couple lines to be Dead Kennedys, Sabbath, Circle Jerks, DOA, Slayer, Onyx, Death Angel, MDC, Suicidal, S.O.D., Priest and whatever. All I’ll say is I voted for a lineup that 3 of the top 6 where it would be generous to call post-rock.
One thing I've learned from doing these drafts is because this is the official Bonnaroo the Music Festival Information Forum, you're gonna get a crowd that gravitates more towards indie, jam, and psych than grind rock, weed metal, and industrial spaz. I mean, look at the lineup that won the EDM draft. Abysmal stuff...

Kinda surprised I made the final 5 tbh. I was directionless all game. I was gonna do Aussie bands only and then switched when Tame got picked with no backup plan.
