Too soon to start a Kilby 2026 thread but, given the November 2025 Ireland date they announced today, how awesome would it be if mbv plays?

Yes. Still loud AF. Coachella 09 the poor Cure fans didnt have earplugs and they died. It was so loud that Public Enemy could not hear themselves and they were on at Outdoor. If Kilby booked them they better put the money into a good PA. At Fyf 2014 the damn thing cut out mid set.

saw them at all points west in '09, they were giving out earplugs and i was very thankful
They did it at all their shows but tons didnt pay attention. Stil love this set cause the Tool fans were so upset. I have a video of them just throwing middle fingers during YMMR
A friend of mine at the Santa Monica Civic show took them out after a couple songs and took the risk. The next day it hit him like a ton of bricks. Bad headache and he had slight vertigo. Couldnt even get out of bed.

With the TikTok shoegaze revival and the persisting infrequency I see people wearing earplugs, some teenagers are gonna go deaf on this MBV tour.
Jack White tickets were selling fast, so I risked it by buying a Santa Barbara ticket that takes place during this festival, but it seems I can easily resell it if this lineup truly sways me.
So the TVOTR LA shows are next week. Do we get the lineup before or after those.

Theyre sold out. I think if thats what is holding things up then its after. But i see no reason as to why you dont announce before. Unless theyre dropping a full tour too

That’s kinda where I’m at with it. I know they announced on the 5th last year but I’m suspecting it’ll be a few days later this year.
