Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Not one of you fuckers came up and said hi to me tho. I’ll remember that next year. Jk but really. If you see someone running around on top of a chicken please come say hi. I always want to meet people on here and I’ve only met one person on here and it wasn’t even at Bonnaroo lmao.

why did you not go to the teddy flair set or brunch?

We were at a bunch of the same shows so I’m blaming you and LSD. I missed more people from here than I saw but I could maybe count to 25 Inforoo if I knew all the people I recognized but didn’t get to talk to. Fwiw. RHCP original lineup album wise was Anthony Flea Jack Sherman and Cliff Martinez (first album / True Men Don’t Kill Coyotes). Second (recorded band) was everyone but Hillel Slovak replaced Jack Sherman. For the 3rd album (The Uplift Mofo Party Plan - Fight Like A Brave, Me and My Friends, Behind the Sun, Party on Your Pussy) Jack Irons was drummer.
It was the 4th album, Mothers Milk (1989/90?) which first features Anthony Flea Chad and Frusciante. It’s a top 3 peppers album for me along with BSSM and One Hot Minute.

Did you go to brunch and meet others from here?
no I didn’t so I know it’s my own fault lol. I’ll try to make it to a brunch next year.

if brunch is usually during any sets I probably won’t go. But I’ll try to one year. Didn’t know about the teddy flair set either. When was it?

haha no not kidding. I wear a chicken pants costume every year for the past 5 or so years I think now. At least 2 days out of the week, normally on Friday and Saturday!

haha I’m functional on L but I probably blame myself anyways. I try to make myself noticeable because I don’t know what anyone on here really looks like besides for some of the avatars on here being of the actual people going. Also yeah you’re right about the original lineup in all stages, I just mispoke saying original lineup.

I actually really look like Frank, Dennis, and Mac. Come say hi next time.

I was in chicken pants then and I was dancing at three 6 mafia but more in the back. I was dancing through the crowd more. I was in a button down but not a Bonnaroo themed one. So I don’t know if it’s me or not. I have met someone else one year wearing the same chicken pants. I’m gonna iron on/sew some patches on my fake pants soon so they are different enough from others.

i don’t know why i remember this but i remember meeting you at shaky knees in 2017 because i opened a mosh pit for cloud nothings then you recognized me at bleachers then i looked at the shaky knees thread and realized from a post that it was you

haha hell yeah that’s awesome. Was I wearing the chicken pants at Shaky? I have in the past, and probably did that year. But I haven’t brought them back there for awhile. Maybe this next Shaky I will!
my apologies if i missed discussion on this but what did everyone think of the attendance this year? i felt like i had a lot of space around me and it was pretty easy to navigate through the bigger crowds. there’s a lot going on in the campgrounds and the thursday pretty lights show led to there being a lot less people on the non what stage part of centeroo but it still felt like there were less people this year. the bleachers in the what field made that whole area feel smaller. this had to have been the least attended bonnaroo i’ve been to since 2016

Did you skip 2022? Cause that was small. I didn’t go to 2016 tho. This definitely felt smaller than last year. But not by a crazy amount or anything.
Yeah I agree. When it was packed it was packed. Cage was super packed for whatever reason. I think 65-70k maybe? Hair less than last year but way more than 2022.
The Sun machine is coming down and we’re gonna have a party. :musical note:

Brutal heat and an endurance battle but a top 3 Roo.
We got in Thursday in about 15/20 minutes.
Edit: Wrex came by camp Thursday and kicked it with the girls and I for a bit and it was nice to catch up. The girls love este. End of edit lol. Adding entree days has seemed to really eliminate most wait times which is just amazing, since I’ve waited 3-5 hours before. Eggy > Say She She was a great way to start the day. Getting to see snowman at eggy and then meet up with a good amount of folks at the Ferris wheel was a wonderful way to get the festival started. After that we went back to camp to drink a few beers before PL. We got to PL about 30 min before the show were fairly close left side. Got to catch set 2 with 𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕒 which was a treat. Really enjoyed the PL show but def enjoyed the sunrise set more but this was the most fun way to get the weekend kicked off with. Chris Lake after was solid but still wish Fisher had been there. We crashed after Chris Lake. Random aside, having main stage open Thursday was just the best and hope it continues. The main stage is just so dang incredible it’s nice to have more chance to see a show at it.
Friday. Was too hot and far for me to try and find brunch but luckily I got to see most of yall at Mdou Moctar which was an incredible show. After Mdou went back to camp till Khru, we got a good spot and was my fav Khru show out of the 5 times I’ve seen them. JRAD after was incredible and still butt hurt about scheduling. Billy Strings coming out at Posty was awesome. Also Post and CTE were my biggest surprises of the weekend. Both put on top tier shows. L and her sister went to Tpain and I met up with a decent amount of yall at TMV which was a good time and fun to see everyone again.
Saturday
My whole mission was to make to sunrise. Typically I’m asleep by 11 each night so 330 am start time was gonna be pushing it lol. So we chilled hardcore all day playing uno till Sean Paul. Sean Paul was bad but fun, which was exactly how I thought it’d be. CTE blew me away. I know a few songs but not too many but that show rocked. Peppers were fine. Didn’t wow me but could have been worse. Parcels was fun but super packed, hindsight I would have bopped over to Idles for the second half of their set. Diplo wasn’t terrible and decent enough to keep my attention before PL.
PL Sunrise set was perfection. Thank you Farrisbueller for the primo spot you’re a legend for life. I’ve listened to it multiple times since being home and it’s just so beautiful. Being able to have a little squad of y’all during the show was pure bliss. The girls said theAmberRhino was the mvp of the evening lol. 11 years later after stumbling upon the PL sunrise set in 2013 while I was trying to make it to ANCO to a few weeks ago was just a magical moment.
Sunday
Prob my fav day of the festival. The rain delay killed the vibe for sure but BBNG>Four Tet> Greensky > Meg > Isbell > Fred was the bomb. Meg also was a huge surprise for me I didn’t stop moving once during her show. Fred was my number 1 show of the weekend and my fav headliner since Phish. He had me smiling ear to ear and somehow dancing my ass off his entire set even though my body was dead tired.
L and her sister said Isbell, CTE, and Post biggest surprises of the weekend.
Though we saw less shows this year than probably any Roo I have been to in the 8 I’ve gone to this still is a top 3 roo for me. The highs were super high and if it had not been as hot as it was we def would have caught more sets.
Again yall it was so nice to meet everyone I did. Yall are amazing and wonderful and it was a pleasure.
Lol know I have to catch up on all these pages.

I’m curious about the thought process behind this too. I’ve been contemplating scaling back on fests and shows to focus on some more important goals that 3 exhausting/expensive weekends a year and countless weeknights out until 11 are kinda at odds with… but at this point live music is basically my entire personality so it’s hard to make that change.
I just got married in March. My wife has been kinda half heartedly tagging along for the last couple years. She has fun of course. It hogs a massive amount of pto in a crucial point of my sales season. We havent seen any of asia, nothing in europe outside of London and Ireland. I’d like to do more things that she will get very excited about before we have kids in a couple years.
I said it wasnt only Bonnaroo but I guess if theres a situation like iii points where I take 1 day, no flight, and it costs very little and wouldnt interfere with other opportunities… Id prob go. Thats not what Im getting at here.
The only reason I announced it was to add hype to Roo 24. And goddamnit it literally helped get Jim Watson to the farm with us.
Tears in my eyes. Glad we got to walk out Friday night after TMV together <333 you are awesome !
I'm 33 and usually only average 10-15 shows a year, the vast majority are at least an hour and a half drive to get to so Roo and a few smaller fests help fill the gap in acts I wouldn't otherwise get the chance to see.
33 year old gang. L and I see about the same amount of shows a year as well. We are def slowing down these days. Like Jake said about pto and wanting to do other type of vacations. We always want to go back but the older we get the more lineup dependent it is.

chillin with y'all and Manders basically the whole sunrise set was a highlight of my Roo!

Oh same here. It’ll be a core memory for a long long time. Smiling ear to ear just thinking about it now.

Definite lowlight was not getting to hang out with y'all much. It pissed me off that we weren't probably 150 yards away camping but it was like a 20+ minute walk since the west tollbooth is fenced and then volunteer camping was between us and y'all. There was no way around it. except to go to the back of y'all's section and then come all the way back up toward the fences. IDK why they have volunteer camping fenced in but maybe that's a perk they get even though no one was checking anyone's credentials at the entrance. Glad I walked over there when y'all were getting set up since it turned out we wouldn't run into you all again except for you at Mdou Moctar. I can't tell you how many sets we were probably 25' away at most but just couldn't link up. I was going to go over to JRAD with you from bbng and had texted you hang back for 5 minutes when the crowd leaves, but it wasn't to be. Next Bonnaroo we will have to try to hang more.
