Ripped as the fuck and about to pass out in the car. Lots of shit to write up when I’m semi-sober but yeah that PL show kicked all ass. Set 2 in particular felt like punch after punch. No chance that isn’t the hardest, loudest and most bass ever at What. I enjoyed the last few Comes Alive songs. GWAR was tons of fun after that. Putin destroyed. Lots of blood and dismemberment. Netanyahu (don’t know how to spell it) had his face ripped off from around his skull after mistreating the Palestinian child. I got to crash but more eventually.
You can walk right in the pit and rail pl. I don't believe the rumored attendance numbers. Sunday might be a different story.
To be fair, this is the first time the What has ever been open on Thursday.
Looked pretty packed at the beginning on the stream. But yeah the Pit had room. My vets who were in attendance seemed to have fun. Pretty sweet the What was open on a Thursday. But the first set put me to bed by 1045. Hopefully the second set slayed. Get some sleep yall

I pretty much only saw Pretty Lights yesterday but damn, what a show. So much better than I was anticipating. I’m gonna go nucking futs on Saturday. Gonna try to come in early today!
Did anyone see Geese? 3D Country was one of my favorite albums of 2023 but I've yet to see them live. Hope someone did despite the direct PL overlap
We went over to Roison and we’re going to catch Geese at the late show in the pods on the way home but ended up catching a bike taxi. Great hanging with Manders and snowman at PL in the pit. We had a ball and then me and Manders went over to GWAR and got to see a bunch of that together as well. Me and my daughter caught about 15 minutes of Roison Murphy on the way out. Band was particularly good.

Geese was outstanding. About half of the show was from 3D Country and it all sounded great. Small technical difficulty (broken hi-hat stand) but they didn’t miss a beat (no pun intended). The band really kicks ass and are musically interesting (lots of left turns).
They have really evolved - I had seen them in 2021 and wasn’t impressed (they have bumped up their stage presence I feel) but they were my show of the day. Say She She was a close second. Also loved Neal Francis, and the 90 min total (or so) I saw of Pretty Lights, and the last 30 min I saw of Roisin Murphy was pretty awesome. Great Thursday!
Felt packed at times (Eggy at 3pm, GWAR) - hard to say though as the What being open changed tent attendance obviously.

Eggy (disappointing compared to the other times I saw them) Say She She (really fun, went in with low expectations and now I'm a fan) Pretty Lights (both sets were amazing, was in pit for both and was able to dance my ass off) Neal Francis (just caught the last 15mins but liked what I heard) Gwar (a lot more comedy and violence than I was expecting. Fucking ripped a dude's face off!) Roisin Murphy (wish I'd made into the tent, that sounded amazing) Geese (I went for a nap near the Galactic stage, listening to Geese play while chilling in a hammock was a nice way to end Thursday)
Did she have a camera showing footage of the crowd and herself on video on a screen behind her?
yes it was fucking insane. What a performance
love to hear it, was wondering if it would fit in a tent. She was on one using the camera on Tuesday lol, started licking herself like a cat at one point

opened with Back on My BS. Backing track and DJ were annoying but he was rapping a lot and it was fairly lit. Honestly, my friend kinda ruined the front half of my night, and that storyline climaxed during that set, so Im not a great source there 😬
