I’m torn. Part of me knows I would be perfectly happy to end the fest watching Isbell from the pit and just going back to camp to finish whatever beer and snacks I have left. But another part of me is curious to see why this guy is headlining Roo.
Upcoming Shows: 11/8 - Goose @ The Andrew J. Brady Center 11/13 - Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros w/ The Wolfpack & The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra @ Cincinnati Music Hall 2/14 - Alan Walker @ The Fillmore Detroit 4/15 - Ben Folds w/ The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra @ Cincinnati Music Hall
tbh i am genuinely excited for fred again because i think i'll either love it or hate it. i'd rather see a set i have a strong feeling about then one i'm middling about.
When I saw him I went in a bit of a skeptic, then early in the show he was banging away at this little drum pad and I was like “this guys cooking, why did I doubt him?” Then the literally next song was the corniest shit I ever heard and I went and got a beer.
So what I’m saying is have you considered that might both love him and hate him?
i guess i'll also accept an absolute whiplash of love/hate feelings throughout the set. better than staring blankly at 61 year old anthony kiedis wandering around the stage half-singing "suck my kiss".

I’ve tried a lot to get into Fred and he has some good stuff but nothing ever sticks with me. Also I don’t really like large EDM shows even if I like the artist. I thought the 22 EDM was really good (Disclosure, Flume, Porter) and I saw a total of 5m combined. The only exception was Jamie xx and probably Justice or Chem Bros if I ever get to see them. Other than that, I’d much prefer a tent or small club show.

I would be open to checking out Fred Again if he wasn’t closing the festival, but being realistic I already know by the time that set rolls around I’m going to be exhausted and probably won’t really give a fuck enough to stick around. Especially since I haven’t been that into what I’ve heard from him in the first place and leaving Centeroo after the Sunday closer is annoying.
Also he got flamed for that really awful Kendrick remix, but that’s just what all of his music sounds like to me. I guess I just don’t get it!

Be honest, you googled how old Anthony Kiedis was before making this post.
And everyone knows you don't go to the Red Hot Chili Peppers for Anthony Kiedis, you go for the rest of the band and he's just kind of the drunk uncle that everyone puts up with.

i did and was surprised, honestly thought he was mid-50s. even more surprising i googled post malone's age, did y'all know he is only sixteen.

I’m still not over how many pics my wife took of him in 2012.

Does anyone else in here ever buy resale? I’m waiting to see how low they might go before buying.
i buy resale pretty often, and usually can snag one for a couple hundered or so under face. market is weird this year though - seems like much less supply. Just speculating, but I think lots of people held off on buying until they knew they were gonna go. my reasoning is that the lineup isn't really a 'wow' that drew a lot of immediate ticket buyers, and then they opened up the single/2day tickets. so there are just fewer people who committed too early and now looking to dump a 4day.
price floor is still sitting around ~$400 OBO, and i've seen a bit go at that price point, but there's also still a lot of bag holders asking for face. I'm aiming to pick one up in the $250-300 range, and I think that's still possible as we get closer to June. With people coming Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday now, it's not as easy to just get one in Wal Mart lot as it used to be when everyone showed up roughly the same day.
If you want best value, look for VIP or GA+ tickets - they will be more actual dollars, but bigger discounts because lower demand. (i've bought VIP for more than half off on two occasions).

i don't know, i heard they printed off 300,000 of those schedule booklets. which means we might have as many as 400,000-500,000 attendees. half a milli in the what field can you believe it.

Wow, half a milli. What's gonna be the best sing a long with that crowd?

I appreciate this reply, thank you! Do they still ship if you wait or do you pick up at will call?

tickets will only be at will call if you order directly from bonnaroo after a certain date. at this point wristbands have shipped out, so you'll have to get the seller to ship or meet up in person somewhere. if someone can't show you proof they have the wristband (I ask for a pic with the date and a doodle of a snowman or something) they are scamming you. Demand a tracking number on shipping and only use Paypal Goods and Services. Helps to if you can get some personal info - insta, FB, phone number etc. that doesn't look like a robot.
