Is Son In Law the one where Pauly Shore does jury duty?
no it's the one where he meets the farm girl in college in LA and they become friends and he helps her become cool. then when she realizes he doesn't have any family to go home to for thanksgiving she invites her to spend thanksgiving with her family. i was surprised at how much i laughed. a lot hasn't aged well of course.
that's a family favorite (South Dakota!). i also met Pauly Shore (and David Alan Grier) once as a kid, i think when they were filming In The Army Now in my hometown. was gonna guess BioDome but doesn't look like Grier was in that one. my brother and i were huge Pauly Shore fans growing up. might need to revisit the catalogue.
I’d like djo. That set will be littered with stranger things fans, though.
You could be surprised. I saw him in Birmingham in 2022 and I thought the same but that was one of the most chill crowds I’ve ever seen, everyone just seemed super into the music. But that was also long before his newfound TikTok viral fame; like, he played End Of Beginning for the first time at that show, and it wasn’t even out yet. No one had ever heard it which is crazy to think about now. I’d say what you’ll have to worry about more than anything at this point is just loud kids with expensive phones their parents bought for them
i’m not sure about the crowd for djo either but i will say that joe keery is a cool dude. in 2017 we booked post animal for our college radio station’s festival and it was right after the first season of stranger things was out and he was in a domino’s commercial. it ended up being the last show that joe performed with them and everything i had heard and seen about him was positive. i took my then girlfriend now wife to the after party and we were the first people from our station there and she was literally starstruck sitting on a porch across from him and i didn’t even watch stranger things or knew who he was lol. it seems like he’s been passionate about music for a while so i appreciate that
Plus KGLW residency Friday: Metal Night (Playing Infest the Rats Nest in Full) Saturday: 3 hour marathon set until sunrise Sunday: Golden hour acoustic set

If he plays, it will be a crowded set, but okay overall. I see it being like a TV Girl type crowd

What comedians would everyone want on the farm, if the comedy tent came back? I feel like we need a legendary one like Eddie Murphy
Bo Burnham on the main stage preheadliner spot or late night Which spot like The Lonely Island
It bums me out every day that Bo basically decided to stop touring. I saw him in 2015 and it was one of the funniest shows I’ve ever been to in my life. Hope he gets back out there one day, but also just hope he’s happy and fulfilled with his other ventures

think he’d be a midday which set tbh, doubt they’d put him in a tent
