surf curse and the duo’s respective solo projects (current joys and gap girls) are all so good and while i’m so glad that they’re finding so much success online, i wish they got a bit more cred outside of their songs that have blown up on tiktok
I’d like djo. That set will be littered with stranger things fans, though.
You could be surprised. I saw him in Birmingham in 2022 and I thought the same but that was one of the most chill crowds I’ve ever seen, everyone just seemed super into the music. But that was also long before his newfound TikTok viral fame; like, he played End Of Beginning for the first time at that show, and it wasn’t even out yet. No one had ever heard it which is crazy to think about now. I’d say what you’ll have to worry about more than anything at this point is just loud kids with expensive phones their parents bought for them
Is Son In Law the one where Pauly Shore does jury duty?
no it's the one where he meets the farm girl in college in LA and they become friends and he helps her become cool. then when she realizes he doesn't have any family to go home to for thanksgiving she invites her to spend thanksgiving with her family. i was surprised at how much i laughed. a lot hasn't aged well of course.

I think that's She's All That.
you're right, we actually watched She's All That, not Son In Law. my brain just puts Pauly Shore in every movie i see.
