My info, and that maybe has zero connection to ACL, is that Dua will play shows in October outside of Europe. The guy mentioned Singapore show and something else. And that 2025 will start in April.

So Coachella for sure?
No guarantees. Would Dua announce a tour leg for north america this week and leave so cal with a big ol open spot for the next 7 months?
My best guess 1.5 days out. Not sure how much this will change on Monday. Dua - Would be quite the coup for but hey maybe just maybe the starts did align....2024: the year ACL cucks the Coachella Post - This was always inevitable. He's played basically every relevant multi-genre festival in the country but never ACL. Posty fest is a distant memory and he'll be our token Roo crossover. Blink (W1)/Killers (W2) - Both have obvious touring patterns that perfectly fit weekend exclusives. Demo appeal is similar too so natural swaps. ACL gets their turn with the festival mainstays of the year but not at the expense of another spot. Stapleton - Idk I'm gonna believe the random dm on reddit. Makes sense and to someone's point earlier, theres always one HLer that literally shows up on no other festival that year. Gwen - Least confident in this one than any on else but I can see ACL thinking they found a formula with booking these older female stars that appeal to older millennial wine moms a la the chicks, pink, shania, robyn, and miley to an extent. She can ride over from that Alabama festival with Blink. Sturgill - Never thought I'd see the day he headlined ACL but here we are. I kinda wish they didn't tease it bc I would have fainted on Tuesday morning. Skrillex - Safe mainstream EDM name that looks good as a big-font headliner. He's a weekend 2 exclusive to pair with Porter's basically-confirmed W1 exclusive. Also giving a little more balance between weekends given W1 gets blink > killers.
Daily lineups of Dua v Sturgill on friday, Blink/Killers v Stapleton on saturday, and Post v Gwen to close.
Just missed... - Pearl Jam - If Dua is not in play, they're the favorites for the #1 spot. Dates make sense, ACL loves big 90s rock names that always tour & IIRC rumor is the lead ACL booker was enthralled with the PJ show in austin last year. - Justice - Idk if ACL/C3 is cool enough to go this route vs the more mainstream (safer) skrillex/porter. If iii points had to pull a rabbit out of their hat to pull justice just two weeks ago, I doubt LN would have been down that path to begin with. - Tyler - really close option to be in Post's spot but I think ACL would go with Post's ACL debut over bringing back Tyler after just three years later (yes I know he was a last-minute replacement in '21). - Stevie - we're never getting her back
Undercard...going to feel both very Texan and very young. Like if HEB and TikTok merged into a music festival. And rap will be almost nonexistent.

I hope you’re right about skrillex and the killers W2 cause if so I’m definitely locked in knowing as well Foster the people are going, that’s enough of an excuse in my head to buy the festival tickets for sure
I’m excited for a strong undercard that ACL has been churning out lately. They are at the perfect time of the year to get emerging artists from this year and people going to blow up the following year. It’ll even out the crap like Bebe they will probably book.
