I’m not biting entirely, but chalamet doing a song or two at Newport would be great marketing for the movie. I can see it.
What would be REALLY funny is if Conan’s thinks it’s funny to introduce Bob Dylan and everyone loses their shit until it’s Timothy in character walking on stage. In which case, Conan would be correct, and that would be funny. I’d love to watch old white men melt down about it.

The ultimate Lynchian ending to the movie would be if Bob walks out on stage to go electric and there's Conan, Dawes, etc. So it's now clearly Timothee as Dylan but was the whole movie that or what's going on here.

I love Bob Dylan and I understand how seeing him play even a single song at Newport 65 years later, potentially with Joan Baez, would be legendary and incredible.
But Bob Dylan is not a difficult ticket to get and I’m sure we’ve all seen him half a dozen times, potentially when he sounded much better.
Chalamet, performing with Conan though, as Bob Dylan, at Newport would be such a unique and incredible thing to witness. And it would definitely reverberate through social media.
On a fun note: what if “real musicians” is a misnomer and we end up with Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Mandy Moore, Jeff Bridges, Eugene Levy, Riley Keough, Jack Black, Ed Helms, John C Reilly, etc.

Why not both? Conan introduces Chalamet as "Bob Dylan". Some people laugh and some get angry that he lied. Conan hams it up and reveals that it's Chalamet crashing his set, then invites the real Bob Dylan up. People who were laughing are now crying. People who were angry are now laughing. Larry rolls his eyes and leaves to beat traffic.
Also, I think your "fun note" idea would be a blast.

New idea for the Friday TBA set. The 3 is a clue but it represents the 3 members of Boygenius and not Jack White. Phoebe then guests with MUNA (same stage - following set).

There’s no way Timothy is going to perform a 45 minute set of Dylan songs in front of a live crowd. It’s just not a great idea. Bring on Jack

Jack is playing a show in Nashville on Saturday, not impossible but assuming he does guest with Conan that would just about eliminate the quad set chances (and I’d be shocked if he was there but not with Conan personally)
