Wanted to put a lot more like Stereolab and Crumb but had to limit myself to 10
Would love to see everyone else’s 10 they submit!
1. Rage Against the Machine 2. Paramore 3. L’Imperatrice 4. Pinegrove 5. Djo 6. Jack White/The Dead Weather 7. Crumb 8. Bad Nerves 9. Glass Animals 10. Coheed and Cambria

Great list, but I think Pinegrove is done/on hiatus for the forseeable future which makes me sad.

Yeah they are on hiatus after the drummer left, which is a massive bummer. I’m just hoping they won’t be gone too long. But yeah not likely for next year.
Realized I should’ve put Tool or System of a Down. We need more heavier stuff at Shaky. A Perfect Circle or Puscifer, Deftones, Primus, Faith No More or Mr. Bungle. Not a huge fan but I think I’d be dope if we got Slipknot even. Forgot to put Polyphia too /:
Headliners- any 3 of: The Cure Florence and the Machine Vampire Weekend Rage Against the Machine The National Undercard: Wet Leg Fontaines DC Pixies Weyes Blood Alex G Manchester Orchestra Momma Illiterate Light Animal Collective Violent Femmes
Tim likes to book Scottish acts so I’d like to see Fratellis or Paolo Nutini
fuck yeah I would love Fratellis that would be a perfect act for Shaky! Also made me realize Primal Scream, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Boards of Canada would be amazing gets too.

Scratch what I said about The Fratellis. Just watched some newer footage and for some reason Jon feels the need to completely change his singing voice and it takes all the life out of it. Sings with like a Dylan like cadence now.

Lots of good 20th and 30th album anniversary options for 2024. Seems to be a touring trend in recent years. Ignoring those who played in the past few years.
1994: Oasis - Def maybe (ha), REM - Monster (ha), Kyuss - Sky Valley (prob not), PJ - Vitalogy (not really their thing, but still a possible HL), Beck - Mellow Gold (maybe), Bush - Sixteen stone (maybe), Weezer - Blue album (probably), Veruca Salt, Blur
2004: U2 (nope), Franz Ferdinand (maybe), Arcade Fire - Funeral (still cancelled I think), MCR (prob not), TV on the Radio (still a band?), Wilco (maybe), Iron & Wine (maybe), Animal Collective, Sufjan, DFA79
Looking back at this also made me a bit sad about all the great artists we've lost. 1994, what a year for music.
