This feels like a notable step down for me but Bryan / Childers was kinda unbeatable.
llamaoftime183 said this during off season but i think they just grabbed Zach and Tyler and the right time. Zach had just announced his first arena tour around the time the lineup dropped, Tyler wasn't playing many big venues all last year. For a Texas fest and as someone that's grown up loving this scene for so long, I think Turnpike and CoJo are a slam dunk but I don't think this'll be an instant sellout like last year.

Excited to see Sturgill but really want to catch a non-festival show. Hope he continues playing these 30+ song gigs next year. I couldn’t make it to the OKC or Arkansas nights.

Boycotting this fest if they radius clause Sturgill and he doesn't get to do a proper Texas show on this tour. I don't want another half length fest set, I want my 3+ hour show
I’m not as exited about the undercard as the past two years. Might grab a ticket and sell it later if a Sturgill show is announced in my area.
I think it's the most red dirt/texas country leaning it's ever been which I totally welcome but also understand why it doesn't have as much of an appeal
1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/4: knock2 3/7: Inhaler* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol

Yeah I was considering this but those prices are kind of whack. There's lots I'd like to see on here but most these bands do pretty regularly play around here. Sturgill is the big draw but I think I'd rather just travel for a full length set than a shortened fest set. I'll just pray this doesn't radius clause him from doing a proper Houston show. I'd be surprised if this sells really well, they don't really have a super hot act on here besides maybe Sturgill but I feel like he draws a different crowd than the other acts that might not come out for this lineup
Speaking of, hoping I can get a ticket to Sturgill's ACL taping on Monday night
I think Alan Jackson is the biggest draw here given it's the last time he'll ever play in the area (and good lord he has hits for days, more than I even realized). There's a ton of buzzy bands/artists on the undercard that I think will help out too: Treaty Oak, Braxton, Ole 60. Also always forget how sneakily huge Bingham is. I think this will sell well, possibly another week of sellout. I don't think anything will ever cause the hysteria of year one though.
