Parrotfish: Fun band to start with The Dip: Funk/Soul, basically feel good music Weval: Dutch electronic Blu DeTiger: Female pop singer, bass player Sons of Kemet: Jazz, Comet is Coming of 2022
If I go (and I likely won’t) it’s all about Andy Frasco & the U.N. Their live album at Red Rocks sold me. That’s a great big ball of rock n roll fun. Dude emanates Roo vibes.

I'm pretty sure I saw Andy Frasco live as an early act at a NY festival. Maybe gov ball a few years ago. I remember liking him so planned to see his set on Thursday. Gotta dig into his music again to remind myself though.
In past years the last rock/indie acts of the night on Thursday have been some of my favorites

I'm really hype for each of Nothing, Weval, Indigo De Souza, Sons of Kemet, and Andy Frasco. I think this will probably end up being my favorite Thursday at Bonnaroo ever.

I said this in the lineup thread, too, but I've really gotten into Garcia Peoples. Part of it is that I've been in a pretty heavy psychedelic rock phase, lately, but what I've heard of them really worked for me.
Other than that, I'm on the same boats as everyone else: Nothing, Indigo De Souza, Weval, Sons of Kemet. I'd see Goth Babe if he didn't conflict with SoK.
I think Weval vs Blu DeTiger is my worst conflict.
I really want to see Weval, but have been listening to Blu a lot lately.
I thought Blu was kinda boring when I saw them earlier this year. With that being said if you enjoy their music you'll probably like it more than I did.

Shabaka is in both, but they don't sound all that similar to me. I like Comet's music better. I haven't seen Sons yet, so maybe live they're similar? Comet had boom potential and hit it both times I saw them. Sons is still to be determined but definite boom potential here as well. -------------------------------- Otherwise I'm not really hyped for much that day. There's good acts though. Wreckno and Nothing will be the hardest shows. CloZee and Andy Frasco are probably the two I'm most looking forward to and Weval. I'm giving zero fucks about the day's headliner, Gryffin. Have seen, was bored.

but picking Blu over Weval seems like a life-altering level mistake. dont do that, Manders!!!

Definitely starting at Weval. Depending on my mood I might walk over to Blu.
The Dip is gonna be a lot of fun! Kinda wanna check of Weval from what little I’ve heard, then Indigo De Souza, and then Andy Franco & the UN. Maybe Sons of Kemet if I can make it happen.
So far leaning towards Calder Allen into The Dip to start. The bit I've heard has been up my alley. Not a big electronic/dj guy.
Also going to still end with Andy Frasco but still have to fill in the middle
As a fellow not a big electronic/dj guy, I think I’m starting with Parrotfish into The Dip. Definitely ending with Andy Frasco after a trip to the campgrounds to see Turnpike Troubadours.
Really want to see Paul because I do think he's gonna be a rising name in country but he's RIGHT up against Garcia Peoples and I have no clue if I'll ever get to see them again. This could be a one time chance. If Paul wasn't out in the plazas I'd be able to do both but not sure I can swing running between the centeroo and plazas.
