Tomorrow would be great but I'm thinking Wednesday or Thursday.
I checked and in 2019 they Thursday of the week before. In 2018 it was Friday of the week before. In 2017 they announced the Monday before the fest.
I don't have an email from them for the 2021 set times but I think those were pretty close to the fest but didn't matter as much because it was a smaller lineup.

I mean, lots of people are definitely going to be baked... but this weekend's temeratures are way hotter than the forcast for next weekend so hopefully it stays that way.
appears to at least be heading in the right direction. as long as the 100+ days stay early in the week and don't get pushed back. low 90s would be just fine since it's really only a few hours of 90+ during the peak of the day.

Purely speculating here, but I still feel like black midi might get added after their Wiltern show this Saturday. So maybe set times on Monday if that's the case?
Anyone know the deal if someone wants to camp for single night? On the DD site it says: "Everyone with a Camping Pass must also have a Weekend GA, Weekend VIP, Weekend VIP PLUS, Single Day GA, Single Day VIP, or Single Day VIP PLUS to enter the campgrounds."
But on the ticketing site they left of single day ticket holders: "Everyone with a Camping Pass must also have a Weekend GA, Weekend VIP, or VIP PLUS to enter the campgrounds."
I remember at the Institute folks could camp for a single night, but I don't recall what the deal was at the Lake.

Eff that, its not gonna move the needle on sales since there are none for dd.

technically everyone needs a camping pass to enter camping but they never check wristbands that I've seen so they probably won't have trouble getting to the campgrounds. The only time I've seen them check is Thursday arrival.

So Phil will be giving an interview as part of their Lined Up Series this Thursday (tomorrow) at 11:00 a.m. PT. I bet the schedule will come out the same day.

Ok so if I'm flying in and camping, how hard is it going to be to get from wherever ubers drop off to the camping area? I'll have a suitcase with my camping stuff and a backpack. Was planning to uber in from Ontario airport unless there's a better option.

if it's just a suitcase and a back pack it won't be terrible, but it's still a bit of a hike. the east entrance might be a little closer than the west entrance but I'm not positive.

Lyft/Uber should drop you off fairly close to the parking lots/main festival entrance, at the designated spot for rideshare. Your driver could also take you right up to where the campgrounds are, so your walk might be pretty short. S
We have used Lyft & Uber in past years, and they would drive us real close to the main festival gate. The trick of course, is finding a ride back to your offsite lodging since cell phone service is subpar in the area and you're competing with many other festival attendees.

BTW for those that may have missed it, Shannon posted that she is powering through and she and the band will be playing at Daze (along with other scheduled upcoming shows).
Much love and support to her, and hopefully I don't have any big conflicts so that I can see her set.

What a trooper! Hopefully performing helps her cope with everything. Happy to have her as a local talent for me, she truly is an Oakland gem.
