I'm thinking about going Sunday to see Iggy since the Rams and Chargers will be out of town and I won't have to work; Would it make more sense to buy a single day or try to swing a deal to grab a weekend pass from somebody that isn't planning on using it Sunday?
Sunday won’t sell out, so I would wait until close to the fest, find out when the box office will close, then try to get a wristband from someone leaving and if that doesn’t work you can just buy a ticket there.

There's a guy on Reddit trying to get rid of Sunday. You gotta hope you don't get screwed though
Also, no changes that I can see from what Sky shared on her Instagram last week. If we do get any additions, it'll come once set times are announced in September.
EDIT: They did add a couple more names to the Remote Midnight Messages - Jarvis Cocker, Tiny Chef (was just Karen O before). And, they added some DJ Sets (like Al Lover) to the Thursday Night Welcome Committee.
Well they had to do something to even out all the $99 passes they sold haha
But I wonder if festivals in the U.S. across the board will be rethinking the price points on their tickets, since it appears quite a number haven't been selling well.

I doubt they're lowering anything any time soon. We just going to lose a whole bunch of festivals and probably go back to the days of Coachella and a few other niche ones
I respect their pricing hustle. $99 for people who believe in the festival, then overcharge single day for the biggest draw. I def want to see Desert Daze stick around and not disappear like others seem to be.
King Gizzard just canceled their EU and UK dates, which went through the end of August. Stu has Crohn’s disease and has to get back to Australia for urgent treatment. I have no idea whether this will affect their US shows, I just hope he’s okay.

Had to have been a really bad flare up. Theyve got a month and a half to see how he feels health wise before they would probably fly over the week leading up. DD is at the beginning of their u.s. tour so thats a good thing.

Does anyone have experience with secondhand purchases on Stubhub for DD? Seeing 3 day GA for around $200 after fees, which is getting close to my comfort zone for this.
Any issues with buying a car camping pass on Stubhub,if prices go down on those as well? Or should I stick to buying camping on the website?

Youll get a pdf to scan at entry for the 3 day. Youre not getting a wristband. Camping likely similar. Parking is the biggest one.
Ok so my plan to stay by pappy's the night before DD won't really work, since pappy's is actually closed Wed. Any ideas of where I should stay that night to be close by? I usually come from Vegas, but I'd rather get there early so I can get a good camping spot that's not quail.
I guess I could still stay in the area and check out Joshua tree

You can just stay in Joshua Tree as you said or stay down in Palm Springs. Pretty much going to be a similar drive to get to Perris.

I know, I'm focused on TANP right now but starting September its all systems go for Desert Daze! I got a big ass van to fill full of shit so if any of you experienced campers have any tips of cool things to bring for the setup let me know.
Took the van for a drive and a clean today after I got it back from the shop, fixed up the wiring a little, trying to decide if I want to upgrade the cabin battery or not before the fest. Went through the camping equipment and took inventory. It's getting real
