I can assure you that at no point in his development was my son taught that the last item of clothes to be removed is his shirt. Yet there he is every night running around like Winnie the Pooh.
He must like the way the air slaps his ass at the end of the night.

Around our home, we refer to that act as “Porky Piggin’ it.”

Going Donald Duck also works. (Except when he gets out of a shower and wraps a towel around his lower half. )
I have this same issue. I will nope a tv show, book or movie at home, but I have never walked out of a theater. That's some balls on your daughter. She is going to give you hell.
I remember going to see Bruno with my father and half the theater left when they saw Bruno helicoptering his dick on screen.
I never left a theater, but I came close to leave that day.
Dude. My mind went to Encanto first, because of that dang Bruno song, and my brain short circuited for a solid 30 seconds.

I signed my almost 5 year old up for Martial arts classes that start in a couple weeks... hopefully this helps with discipline and focus and doesn't just turn him into an ass kicking machine.

Godspeed with that. One of ours loved it. If yours does, I fear for you. B is an orange belt now and absolutely goes for the knee caps on me.

awwww I remember when we signed up my little for "kawate", he liked it but was too energetic to sit and listen.
We moved on to soccer and he likes that a lot more.
My 4yo has been crying a lot more lately for the silliest things. I'm guess he's more aware of his surroundings at daycare and picks this up from his friends. Everything is a negotiation from food to bedtime...
But damn, he's cute.
I'm glaf it's not just us. Literally EVERYTHING is a negotiation these days.

Good to hear! He's starting soccer next month and through the rest of the summer. It's at his preschool, after hours, so couldn't possibly be more convenient for us lol.

I don't think my kid can even take off his own shirt yet, unless it has buttons lol. But yes as soon as he gets home the shorts or pants disappear. At least he waits until we're home, my mom found me naked on the lawn around the same age lol.

Kyle did karate for a minute but it faded fast. My nephew on the other hand who is borderline being on the spectrum and very high ADHD has thrived. He had discipline and behavioral issues and it really helped him to get a handle on them and focus. He's pretty far up the color chain at this point.
Plus side to no kids in the house, I cooked and cleaned, like really cleaned today. The house is still spotless. I had no energy to clean up constantly when there was 3 other people making a mess.
Jeremy works a lot, so it'll stay this way. It's so nice. I forgot what a spotless house was like.

I want this in my life.. love my kids but damn they can be some dirty MFers

My house has been trashed. I had no motivation to even try to clean it. Nobody was here all day and I guess motivation struck. I forgot what this felt like. I wish this for every parent.

That was one of the perks of living alone, for sure, when I got home the house was exactly as it was when I left lol.

Today my kid was PUMPED to go to preschool, and when we dropped him off a new little dude was super upset and crying for his mommy which I can fully relate to dealing with. We've come so far in just 6 months!!! It's a good day (well for us, not for little the little sad dude).

Eldest son passed his driving test today and will have his license next week. So grown up!
Still trying to talk them into going to a music festival - probably a hotel fest to start with.
So inforooers should I make them go to a fest, since I only have about 6 months left until the eldest turns 18 or do I let them decide for themselves? My power over them is slipping awayyyyyyy.
For example I made both of them try band because I knew that they would find other weirdos there to befriend. Luckily they both loved it and stayed. Sex ed, they both hated and will never forgive me.

Don't make them go but try and convince them.
We've got a local one coming up in the Fall that I'm considering asking my wife if we can take my daughter to. I feel like the Flaming Lips would be a fun first show but she's young (eight) and he says fuck a lot.
My four year old was told he couldn't have dessert unless he ate all of his veg. He's now arguing that he doesn't have to eat his tomatoes because they're a fruit. I'm both annoyed and begrudgingly impressed by the effort. (He now needs to also finish his fruit.)
