Hey all I haven't been to the farm since 2012. I'll be going with some people who are in the same situation. I'm just wondering what are some changes to the Bonnaroo experience that I should expect. Good or bad changes. I want to hear about them all. I heard they put in actual bathrooms? How is security these days? Do they still have the golf cart taxi's that drive around?
Permanent bathrooms New arch Where in the Woods is new which is a wooded stage area with a bunch of old Bonnaroo artifacts There’s a lot more stuff in the campgrounds (now called plazas not pods) The Other Tent is now an EDM stage
Also, I haven't been to Roo since 2012 as well - so I was/am also curious to see how much has changed since then
The permanent bathrooms are fucking glorious.
Long overdue imo. Its not like the Farm is in the boonies. Building perma restrooms is the least they could do.
TBH I'm surprised power+water hookups for RV's hasn't been installed for the RV areas in GA and VIP. I mean, why rely on water(/brown+grey dump) service trucks and generators when water+power connectivity could be easily implemented. If anything the local environmental impact that comes with running said generators should be reason enough to do this.
For how much they charge for RV passes (esp in VIP) it shouldn't be a stretch to get some infrastructure installed. Otherwise why allow RV's in the first place?

The screens at Which/This/That will definitely blow your mind the first time through. Bonnaroo has definitely taken steps to make the furthest away camps easier to get to as well. We were stuck in the way way back (upper right hand corner on the map) in 2019, and there was a sort of shortcut that shaved 15-20 minutes off the walk. It still sucked, but it did suck less. Hopefully Jamtrak will help out too.
The other benefit associated with real running water was the installation of some permanent showers (instead of the porto showers). I know some people think showers are optional for the weekend but for me this was a nice add.
They also added a beach area called the Oasis a few years back, which I would assume is returning this year.
