garageland is this one on your radar, or do you know anyone who's gone? It's way too late to make happen this year but I looked at past lineups and it just seems so enjoyable
love the red dead redemption font
edit: lol just was waking up and thought this was ur submission for the rock/Metal draft when I commented that

I looked hard enough at going this year that I followed the lineup roll out and did the undercard homework. Didn't work out, but pretty committed to making it happen eventually, hopefully next year.
I haven’t been but I know a few people that went the Avail year and really enjoyed it. Personally, these lineups rule. There’s enough things you know to get you there and tons to dig into for research.
yeah I was flipping through their website with my wife at the bar last night and giggling at some of the band names and descriptions, ended up listening to Mouthreader on the ride home and they are right up my alley

Bob Log III and The Immortal Lee County Killers would definitely be behind Negative Approach if I were dream listing acts to see.
Sadly this is always so close to Hopscotch for me to go though I might be trading that if the this year doesn’t go well. Might open it up in the future.
They used to do one in Europe but I’m not sure if they still do or not.

Right there with you on the timing always being wonky for me. Maybe next year.

Set times are out. James Blake vs. Badbadnotgood and Pavement vs. Carl Cox hurt! I'll likely split the first conflict while Pavement gets my full attention

Bumbershoot was a really great time!! Will likely buy the blind presale next year. Highlights:
- a prime Pavement setlist - George Clanton burning down the Fisher Stage at 3pm the first day. Left his band in Malta and smashed a guitar - Moor Mother giving us hope - spooky Kim Gordon - free yerba mate - Freddie Gibbs doing tracks off of Piñata (it's been 10 years fuck) - Lee Fields shouting out the beautiful couples

Jam Room Music Festival in Columbia, SC on October 26, 2024. It's free y'all. Some good clubs shows Thursday and Friday to justify staying a night or two: J. Robbins, War On Women, Sluice, Touche Amore, Soul Glo, Hot Freaks (Tribute to Guided By Voices).
That's a ridiculously good bill and the 2nd level is just awesome. Wondering if the asterisked bands are set for Boston Calling or another festival with odd radius clauses.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Miramar is very pretty. There are tons of rich, successful lesbians who live just east of there in 30A. MMJ is playing down there. It’s basically between Destin and 30A. Sandestin resort is part of Miramar. More broadly it’s less than an hour west of Panama City Beach and about 90 minutes east of Pensacola.
