Lana would make a whole lot of sense as a headliner here, and (assuming they put some solid acts on earlier in the day) would probably tempt me to buy a day pass at least!
Is someone like Tame too big for Forecastle? Had Arcade Fire and LCD not long ago but I don’t know if they were the same level or cost at there bookings as Tame will be this festival season. Plus with them almost certainly playing bonnaroo I don’t know if that would take them out too; probably need to check if they’ve shared headliners in years past.
Other than that I’m surprised at the lack of content involving the lineup, usually there’s more rumors or ideas circulating by this time of year.
Tame is going to make more money next year but from the 2019 pollstar report, Tame was grossing 323k last year per show. For comparison, Avetts did 306k and Paak did 270k, no info from The Killers but I'd imagine they were much higher than those two. So Tame is def not too big
Good point. Would be an awesome booking that would sell extremely well but for some reason it just feels like something that’s too good to be true to get excited for.
Easily the first or last. Tame, Kasey and 1975 feel like something that Forecastle would book based on history. BUT I want to see NIN so bad that I would love that one even if I am indifferent on Flume and am one of the seemingly few people that doesn't care for Vampire Weekend at all haha.
Real talk we are 100% getting one of: Lana Del Rey Kacey Musgraves Brandi Carlile
Stevie Nicks
I think I'd prefer Musgraves out of this list. I don't know many of her songs but it'd make the Ms. happy and seems like an easy show to watch and not get bored. I know a few Lana songs but her new stuff has been very hit or miss for me. Brandi I don't know much about other than her performance with her new band on Howard Stern recently which sounded pretty good and I've seen Stevie a few times already and some people are claiming her voice isn't holding up well, although she does have a lot of hits and would move tickets obviously.

At this point, I think Vampire Weekend will be at Bunbury (which will knock them out for Forecastle). They have another Promowest promoted show later in the year, and they're doing Govball the same weekend at Bunbury.

Good call. Pretty likely if they have other things scheduled with Promowest.
