I guessed Kanye partly on a vibe so when I revealed I was hoping I could provide enough objective reasoning for guessing him that it rang true to the rest of Town, and that might be why I was expecting more pushback, as well.
Any improvement I've made in playing this game has been about improving my intuition rather than understanding how the objective facts have played out, because the objective facts and what they mean shift from game to game. In this game I considered distancing an indicator of collusion, whereas in many games it's intended to be an indicator of distance.
Gut works pretty good in this game but it does lead to trouble sometimes when you try to explain yourself. At least for me it does. I've got where I've wasted my round 1 guesses the last couple games trying to clear future doubts. It's worked out okay.
Without a doudt this game has gotten far more complicated and away from strait fact-based digging. The mafia have developed so many fucking tricks over years of people playing together and passing them on. It seems much harder for the town to win now. But yeah, it's almost suicide to trust any straightforward answer to anything.
Also, I've noticed I've found that I contradict myself all the time now. Like advocating for a solution that two games ago I would aruge wouldn't work or mafia wouldn't do. Whatever.
Can’t see any reason not to believe Pablo, and now Kanye defending the new players makes a lot of sense.

honestly I need to do another read through while considering what we know now (which probably won’t happen until later tonight at soonest). The only person whose behavior had at all stuck out to me was Jaz noting his disengagement (which I already pointed out and he already explained) - but my first instinct is that it was genuine and that he wouldn’t have said that were he mafia. Outside of that, Dan was very townie from what I remember - his interactions with Kanye didn’t seem staged, and he said he had a gut feeling Todd was mafia. Could have been distancing but I doubt it.

I know we hate talking during the night phase but i missed out on some conversation yesterday and want to give some input. I'm not sold on jaz being the third, I think this game he has played very normally, and would assume he would have given todd a little less obvious coaching. I'm certainly not ruling it out though. Ultimately, I'll need a reread to get my head on straight about the whole situation.
I'd like to hear crools thoughts as well, even though it is a night round.

Looks like a lot of people are thinking Jaz for the last mafia member, I'm actually thinking Dan. He kept his vote with Agar until he basically had to switch it after the inspector revealed. That alone isn't too incriminating, but when you couple it with the fact that Kanye pretty inexplicably saved Dan at the end of round 1... that's pretty incriminating for both of them now that we know Kanye is almost certainly mafia.
