Black Keys effing suck. I’ll never understand how they got beyond mid tier status.
Gnr is headlining literally every fest in the SE this fall. Other than Voodoo becoming milquetoast post-Rehage I don’t see how they wouldn’t get them as it looks like they are the industry thing for this region/season.
No Gnr, who were fn incredible on their reunion tour, while getting some soft bois rock would def be a kick in the nuts but it is what it is.
I want to see The Cure and Billie Eilish back to back on Sunday. If the rest of the lineup is whack I’ll just come that day.
The Cure is our number one priority for the fall and we plan on flying to Vegas and Chicago as well if shows get announced there.
Wow - “milquetoast“- who knew. Anyway, GnR are in.

I love you! Now if just Billie Eilish was confirmed also.
Dog Blood just co-headlined Saturday at Buku, so like Excision (who co-hl'd Friday), I don't think they'll play Voodoo. Skrillex hasn't played Voodoo in a while though he did come with the Jack U project back in 2015 or 2016. Bassnectar last played it in 2013 which would be awesome for me since I won't otherwise get to see him this year. Deadmau5 still has a return engagement due because of the flooding in 2015. Lately his festival sets haven't been Cubes v 3.0 which would be kind of disappointing if it's just a generic Deadmau5 troll the festival crowd set.

Does tour dates on merch usually reveal any clues? Because Billie Eilish has no mention of New Orleans on her merch, but she has ACL and LiB on there.
Not usually, usually it it based off current tour dates. As of right now, her tour "ends" at ACL. In theory, it would be really easy for her to play Voodoo since she doesn't have any dates after October 13.

I mean Infinity Pass is the best source on this site and one of the best on the web. Unless some shit goes haywire between now and Tuesday, bank that shit.
Oh and sang.. I can be more dismissive of singer songwriters than I should be sometimes. But damn. If Brandi comes with that however many piece band with the string ensemble, that’s borderline gotta see it. I never paid her that much attention, but she’s kind of the shit. I mean also VC, if you haven’t seen her recent video for “Mother” you might want to reconsider. Jmo carol king-Ish for the 2020’s but definitely up there.

Well, after that posting I went down the rabbit hole and found this set from last year's Boston Calling. WOW. If you don't have time to watch it all, forward to the 33 min mark and watch the last 2 songs. Bring this to Voodoo and it's a 100% can't miss set.
Edit to say a poster on reddit said Denzel Curry was confirmed for Voodoo. I’ve seen him a few times, but that would be a bonus for me. Poster behind him said he self confirmed but didn’t leave a link.
On the streets and haven’t run into any sources, but I’m 100% sure a certain act besides Denzel that made my Top 10 for Buku is there. It won’t mean shit for most people, but it’s another bonus for me toward the harder side. I’ll pm anyone who wants to know but I’ll just say unless they are giving this a push, it’s just lower mid card

With those 4 and Denzel Curry, this is a no-brainer at $140. Done and done.
I could see voodoo putting Brandi in the top 10, obviously GNR is Top 1, Denzel should be up around 12-15 (could be higher if they do a heavy rap night) and his new album ZUU is pretty great. I don’t follow Hippo Campus and can’t remember if I found them too poppy or if I liked them, but I’ll look more into that down the road. Big Wild can be hit or miss depending on what he’s doing that day. Ive seen him a few times and it’s been varied up though I didn’t care for his ACL set last year which was the last time I saw him. The set I posted about last night that’s 100% in, is great for me. Hopefully the “/“ gave it away. I’ve only seen that act once itself and then guesting with another act later that night. It’s a borderline awesome filler set for those who like their modern music to go along with some headbanging. I’m going to try to see if anyone has any more info today but I kind of doubt it.
Guns N Roses Brandi Carlile Denzel Curry Big Wild Hippo Campus Peekaboo New: Japanese Breakfast (Aries) <-- thanks to Reddit for that one twitter.com/jbrekkie/media
Someone also speculated Matt & Kim after Indianapolis, but there's a "Y" where there's no way you could have City Park unless it was "NOLA City Park" or "N.O. City Park" which isn't the name of the park. Could be a "throw you off" printing, but I don't know.
Yeah. It's almost the same logic as for Big Wild though he had a gap whereas Tyler's tour ends on the 26th in Houston. I could see them giving him a Top 5 and possibly HL rapper unless they're going Tyler > Childish maybe.
