If I don't get a Mike's Song/Weekapaug over the weekend, I'll be extremely disappointed. The pair has yet to be played on the farm.
We did get Rocky Top and they brought out Kenny Rogers last time, so I'm sure Tennessee will get some type of shout out and special guest appearance on Sunday.

Sit-in possibility: Maya Rudolph (SNL, Bridesmaids) for 1999
listening to the 7/26/17 version of 1999. i love how they swapped vocals, and i love the enthusiasm with which they sing. obviously the execution of the vocals is lacking, but who cares. i would have lost my goddamn mind had i been there.
No sit in will ever top Springsteen at Bonnaroo 2009 for me. I’d expect the TAB horns to sit in at some point. I know they’ve played with Ricky Skaggs before and he’s in the Grand Ole Opry set so I could see that too.

You wouldn’t have been alone. That whole second set was so much fun Carini> Mr. Completely >1999 had everyone around me going nuts.

In all seriousness, do we think they play any “rare” songs, or will it be a pretty run of the mill weekend? I literally have no clue what to expect at a Phish show.

They do what they want to do, so you can only have a vague idea anyway imho. At some point you’d figure they will do their barbershop quartet tune about how many days old they are. And you’ll get some familiar songs, covers and something for Tennessee. But what they do is ?
Suggest some rare songs and we can debate the likelihood of them appearing. I'll Start.
Tennessee Waltz (Roy Acuff & The Smoky Mountain Boys cover) - 2 total appearances, last 11/16/94. Probability - if it's ever going to pop up again this seems to be as good a spot as any Icculus - 27 total appearances, last 12/31/13. Probability - unlikely, but someone tweeted about it (thanks Delicious Meatball Sub) so yOu NeVeR rEaLlY kNoW NO2 - 8 total appearances, last 9/6/15. Probability - for some reason I'm going to go with "higher than most"

Highway To Hell (LTP 8/16/09, also played at Bonnaroo 2009) Instant Karma (LTP 2011-08-10) Light Up or Leave Me Alone (LTP 2012-07-06) Strange Design (LTP 2016-07-08) 1999 (LTP 2017-07-26) Jesus Just Left Chicago (LTP 2014-10-22) Carolina (LTP 2016-12-30)
"Jesus Just Left Chicago" and "Contact" are notable personal gaps, I haven't got either of them since my first show 19 years ago.

Highway to Hell, Instant Karma, Carolina >5%. Would definitely welcome both but I don't see it happening
Light Up or Leave Me Alone - 15%. This would be so fun, hard to believe it hasn't popped up since '12
1999 - 20%. I've irrationally convinced myself it could happen after my sit in suggestion yesterday
Jesus Just Left Chicago - 50%. Will appear this summer at some point, but me thinks it'll be later. I'll say Alpine (so that selfishly I still get to see it).
Strange Design - 100%. I'm due. Beyond due. This is happening and it will be glorious.
What’s the possibility that Phish goes long Friday ?
Based on how Bonnaroo has treated LN set lengths the past few years I don't think it's likely they go super long. 1:15am at the latest, but I'd put my money on Phish ending right at 1am.

I doubt they go over their allotted time by too much. I’m hoping JRAD gets an extra 30 minutes or so in as well. How hard would it be for Roo to run one stage until sunrise?
