Alright I've done some research on Wikipedia and these things are universally accepted re: Jesus as a hystorical figure;
Jesus was born around 4 BC, around the time Herodes The Great died. He spent his childhood and younger years around Nazaret in Galilea. He was baptised by John The Baptist. He surrounded himself by students and he taught in small cities, villages and the countryside. He proclaimed 'The Kingdom Of God'. Around the year 30, he went to Jerusalem for Pesach. He aroused a stir at the temple. He had a last meal with his students. He got captured and questioned by Jewish autorities in Jerusalem and got sentenced to death on command of Pontius Pilates.
Now make up your own mind if he is or isn't allowed, damn.

We’d be here all day if we were discuss the extent to which Jesus existed but the point is that there are no well documented “performances”. There’s no proof that there was anything like “Come See Jesus LIVE This Sunday!!!” This is pretty open and shut.

I was just stating the things that are universally accepted, because in the thread Druid said that the Bible wasn't good evidence, which I agree to so I went to look for things that are accepted for him as a hystorical figure. It's hard to say or give evidence for someone who live 2000 years ago. People only starting writing about him 30/50 years after he died, I mean..

I'm not Christian and don't believe in Jesus's divinity, but he was a historical figure that existed, according to the majority of historians. I don't think it's a good pick, but I'm okay with it being eligible.
Jesus loosely inspired a lot of the music that lead to Rock n' Roll.
BUT..... there's a pretty sad history of bondage and terror involved in that. Seems like it would be a bummer of a show.
I guess you could focus on commissioned classical music. A night with Jesus and his piano?
Satan was the lead of the choir in heaven, he'd have a much better show.
He certainly has all the good musicians on earth. God really hasn't blessed any Christian rock artists. You would think he'd be all about that to help spread the good word but nah.

Yea, I tell my wife that all the time. She listens to christian musically occasionally. I can't put my finger on what it is, but it all has the same sound. Like way too polished maybe? Too clean. I've heard some amazing stuff in church, but commercial christian music is just boring.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a board that can't distinguish between Tool and a seminar taught by members of Tool can't separate the historical figure Jesus, the religious figure Jesus Christ, and the crimes of Christians.
Did we ask the drafters who took classical composers from hundreds of years ago to provide dates? Or did we take it at face value that they obviously performed live?
