Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i think this is incredibly murky, but is fine if you can provide clear evidence of it being a within bounds thing. Bjork Digital, Brian Eno's the Ship come to mind. Someone like Ono who has documented performance pieces. "the works of van gogh" or something should be a strong no though.
what jaz seemed to be attempting seems like something very day for night, but in his initial poster showing EPI, it kind of read to me like it was a small festival featuring the VU. Having films, music, lights all by different people running at the same time isn't an "act".
all it really takes is a couple videos of public performance art, or other parties/installations that feature Warhol that aren't VU showcases.
Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Day for Night have art installations, as I'm sure do many other festivals, and we've already allowed a circus act (which I think is awesome and should be allowed), so I see no reason why other non-musical art shouldn't be allowed.
To me an art exhibit can simply be a bunch of painters displaying their works in a setting where the music can still be heard which I've seen at many festivals.

I like the idea of art exhibits of all sorts being draftable. If we do move in that direction, it is odd that Warhol would be the first taken over Dav Vinci or Picasso or someone else.

Art exhibits are at festivals but they are not musical acts, which is what we are drafting. This is a good idea but I feel like it’s too late to add this element to the game.

You mean aside from the comedians and the circus? I feel what you're saying but take the stance that it's too late to switch to music-only acts, when other non-music acts have already been taken for quite some time.

I meant to exclude comedians my bad. I think the circus shouldn’t have been allowed but I didn’t catch it until days later. I think my standard would be whether or not the act is on a single, traditional festival stage. Comedians and plays can fit on that but I don’t see how Warhol would do that.
