If drafting Rod Stewart and Lionel Richie after Faces and The Commodores were picked was fine, I don't see why this isn't valid. Her solo career is completely different than her being the frontwoman for The Supremes.
I want to tell carini12, who currently has The Supremes, that I did not make this pick to step on your toes. Diana will not be doing any of her Supremes songs at my festival, and it will be very dance/disco focused.

I feel like the order of this matters. If Diana Ross had been picked first and someone tried to get clever picking the Supremes I’d be against it, but the other way seems fair to me

I think the Supremes is the same thing. If you look on Spotify, they are just the Supremes and there isn't even an entry for Diana Ross and the Supremes. I think they just started getting booked like that once Diana really got popular
