The paper I help out with is putting together a list of a top twenty undercard gems (acts) for the festival season and I thought it would be cool to have this place as part of the metric. We've got several folks on it, there's just no way we can get to everything, plus I'll discover some new bands this way. I guess if you have a top five or ten, that'd be cool or whatever you want to do, really. Everyone's vote will count once, except krisplettuce, whose vote will count four times before being nullified altogether.
Here are some of my favorites from Jan to Apr in no particular order:
- Fire! - The Hands - Anna Burch - Quit The Curse - Laurie Anderson & Kronos Quartet - Landfall - Rafael Anton Irisarri - Sirimiri - Borusiade - A Body - Kapital & Richard Pinhas - Flux - God Is An Astonaut - Epitaph - Portico Quartet - Untitled (AITAOA #2) - Lonker See - One Eye Sees Red - Rui Ho - Becoming is an Eventful Situation
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

This is great. Thank you. I guess I should have reworded. We're looking for bands listed on undercards on festivals in 2018. Now that most of the lineups are out, we're just looking to shine some light on some of the mid to lower tier acts on the posters.
