Anyone else doing TVOTR tonight? We had to pivot from Monday after my wife’s pneumonia diagnosis, but the antibiotics have done their work and we are ready to hit it.

it was a killer show. They sound great and were super-tight. I missed Dave Sitek a little, but if you closed your eyes, you wouldn’t have necessarily noticed. The band seemed happy to be playing - Jaleel Bunton talked about how psyched he was to be there, and Tunde and Kyp spontaneously hugged at one point. Just massive good vibes coming off the stage.
Highlights for me: “Young Liars” (one of my all-time favorites, and such a great opener), “Could You,” “Wolf Like Me” (partially harshed by a couple of assholes who came bombing through the crowd right where I was standing, but still sounded great), “DLZ,” and “Trouble.”
It’s awesome they’re back and I’m glad they’re continuing to be active next year and I hope they end up keeping it going because the world is better when I can see TVOTR play live.
