Yeah, those and Thee Sacred Souls and Fishbone for me. I saw Black Belt Eagle Scout open for Sleater Kinney recently and they were awesome!!!
Going to have to do some serious educating. I don't know ANY of these bands, but I love going to the bandshell.
Me too (I mean I know Fishbone but not interested) I RSVP'd for Watchhouse/Black Belt as that seems up my alley, but will need to listen first. May check out the dance performance the night before instead. Looks like their promoter deal (Bowery?) must have lapsed given the lack of benefit shows and the bookings.

Do Pier 17 shows now go through AXS? Seems odd given it's a Live Nation owned/booked venue.
I've noticed that with a few Live Nation shows lately - My guess is that they are doing a little diversifying because the Justice Dept. is breathing down their necks regarding them and TM being a monopoly.

Childish Gambino's use of dynamic pricing for these Barclays shows makes no sense. Why inflate the price of night 1 tickets if you can just buy night 2 tickets for 25% less?

Went to buy Nilufer Tanya tickets for her show at Brooklyn Steel this morning, and I see they have something called "Preferred Terrace." Anyone ever seen that before? Does that mean they're selling tickets for the balcony, or have they found some way to subdivide the best GA club in the city so they can make more money?

haven't seen it and if the mini left balcony is now separate i'm going to be mad because that's the best place to watch a show from there

Just googled around and saw this reddit thread. It looks like they are selling access to at least part of the balcony separately and for a higher price.
