I don't think Mazzy Star is eligible if she submitted her list before they announced new dates.
Would you like me to run a poll?
I think it's pretty cut and dry, they are not eligible. I specifically didn't draft them or include them in my FA's due to their ineligibility. Announcing a live date after all of us have already submitted doesn't negate that.
I honestly thought that I saw something about a rumored tour coming. I am trying to find that now, but I might have just really wanted them on my lineup. LOL
Only "active" or potentially active acts can be drafted. If you're planning on booking a reunion, you need to demonstrate that there is a reasonable reason to believe that it could happen. (This rules out Talking Heads, for example.) An artist is considered "active" if they have had or will have public performances between 1/1/15 and 12/31/19. (This eliminates things like Rock and Roll Hall of fame performances, one-offs for benefits, awards show reunions, etc.) An artist would be considered inactive if they don't meet the live performance requirements or if there is credible documentation that an act has broken up, has no plans of touring, are focusing on other projects, does not play in this country, etc.
I think if she has an article or anything that prooves that a tour was coming, I think they should be eligible (the same happend with the Spice Girls and we let that one slide through lol)

They aren't touring, they're playing 1 date at a festival in Australia
None of this matters though, as when she choose them they were 100% without question ineligible.

They do not meet the live performance requirements.
If they announced a tour, I think this automatically means that they were potentially active when Vieux drafted them, though perhaps not DEMONSTRABLY potentially active. Like if we see a frog, it automatically means it was a tadpole, even if we have no proof it was a tadpole. The prior state of "potentially active" is a necessary condition for being "active", even if such a state can only be known after the fact.

we already went over this with an act like the Smiths. someone would have drafted Mazzy Star if it was a thing before we started.
I sent my lineup in on the 18th, so no it's not a "gamble". i dont see why it's so big of a deal we can't just move on, there's a rolling list of people who did ineligible things.

Even though I didn't agree with extending the timeline, when cdevaney sent out a private message and asked those of us who got it in on time if we were okay with extending it, I defending those who were late and actually advocated for us to wait for them cause people make mistakes.

Goes to show what being nice does.
if you recall, my response was to let them burn. (Vieux was in that group as well though)

I'm not mad at Vieux in the least, she's being reasonable as far as I can tell. It's the disregard for the rules by others that I dislike.
I get the feeling that it's gonna pass, so whatever. Let's get this whole thing moving.

I don't think this is a situation that would call for regretting being nice. I also don't think these are a blatant disregard for the rules. I mean this is all supposed to be for fun.
