Not to be wishy washy, but I do like both for different reasons. Plus, they're two different formats, so the content is slightly different. On here, I like the amount of users with a genuine, detailed interest in music and they tend to be very knowledgeable. On there, the subject matter tends to be more towards Firefly and festivals in general, but is still interesting. I'm hoping that our new official forum will be a nice mix of both.
If Jack White and The Strokes are on the top line, I'm 100% in regardless of the rest of the lineup
Jack White would make so much sense. I had a great time at that set in 2012
Didn't Firefly allude to many artists for the 2018 lineup having recent new music come out (or will come out in 2018)? Granted that could mean a lot of different artists, but Jack's album should be out sometime next year.

I'm honestly not sure. I don't really do any of the social media posts or replies from the official accounts anymore. Although, it's a pretty common practice for artists to hit the festival circuit in support of a new album, so that seems like it would happen by default for a lot of artists.

Right but I thought they specifically mentioned it in some way, maybe I'm wrong.

I remember a tweet a while back polling who the greatest headliner was and jack White was one of the few options. Kind of a blur now
Bleachers Dej Loaf Greta Van Fleet Noname Nothing but Thieves Odesza Ron Gallo San Holo Skip Marley St. Vincent SZA Tank and the Bangas Tash Sultana Whethan
Of the names that I know, all would be pretty good options for Firefly. If Firefly can get SZA and St. Vincent I would be very happy.
I wouldn't be surprised to see The Flaming Lips on the lineup this year, they're coming out with a collaborative beer with DFH and they're due for a return set.
03/14 - Thievery Corporation 04/25 - Black Country, New Road 05/04 - In Flames, Gatecreeper 05/10 - Modern Life is War 05/21 - Spite, Bodysnatcher, Thrown 05/29 - Knocked Loose, Loathe, Show me the Body, Speed 06/02 - Bush 06/22 - George Thorogood 06/23 - Dillinger Escape Plan, Deadguy, Candy, Carbomb

I'll keep saying this because FF is my closest festival option and I'm an Annie Clark fan boy, but this is definitely the year. She'll have the band back in tow as well so that would be awesome. SZA would be tight too.

I would also love to see St. Vincent at Firefly, but I imagine it's unlikely given that her tour dates before and after Firefly are in Europe (June 3- UK, June 28- Spain). It's not impossible, just seems improbable at this point.

I mean do you think Gov Ball and firefly would share their top 2 headliners?
Maybe, maybe not but we werent even sure if Jack White would be active this summer and theres proof that he will be now. Dont think its any less likely now than it was before

Almost prefer now Firefly just experiment with no headliners and just absolutely stack the lineup. I'm really not ready to see Eminem • Imagine Dragons • Travis Scott • The Chainsmokers • Halsey on a poster and officially declare this festival dead.

Well they didnt do that, thats for sure, I bet this lineup drops next week especially because there shouldnt be any issues with announcing eminem

Yeah, there are no other artists I can see holding up this lineup up since there's no way Firefly gets Arctic Monkeys or Fleetwood Mac.
