Absolutely I'd take this, but it looks too expensive. Both Eminem and Jack White seems out of reach for Firefly (in the same year).
Been searching and it seems the only American Festival Green Day has played(headlined) was Lolla ‘10. Seems pretty odd that they only seem to play festivals over seas. Anybody know of any other American bookings?

They were supposed to play a new festival in Tennessee a few years ago with (IIRC) kings of Leon but I didn’t sell and it got cancelled.

People on reddit are assuming Eminem is a locked in headliner based on this thread. I haven't seen anything here that leads to that conclusion other than speculation and Phyre saying that he'll be everywhere next summer on the Coachella board.

Trying to think of who else would be around. I think Eminem locks out Kendrick Lamar, I doubt they'd book both of them for Firefly. So with that, I think the Chainsmokers (+ Halsey) are really looking strong given the Hangout connection. Green Day seems like a logical option of course, and I'm betting The Strokes could be convinced to play a festival or two like last year.

Yea, I think the unopposed really needs to end. Something more than just the silent disco please. Like they have two acoustic stages- put them to use.
Even though I'm a huge Mau5 fan, I like that they had Pepper play at the backyard when he played even though he was technically a "headliner" at his 12:30-2AM spot in 2016. I would have liked to see Pepper, but I'm glad for those who aren't into Mau5 that they had something to see.

The conspiracy part of me feels like they had a few people go in an vote for the Delawareonline poll for Fleetwood Mac and Eminem when they already had them booked. That way they can come out and say it was the fans choice and it was "fan curated". I mean it only took like 20 votes to get first place.

Don't know but Bonnaroo and Firefly shared The Weeknd and Chance last year so it's not impossible for them to show up on both.
