Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Went with GA for both nights PL. VIP was about 200 and super VIP was 350. You have to be "fam" or some shit to get that but the value for the open bar is possibly there depending on how long each night goes. I never do shit for NYE so this could be a train wreck or a train wreck. And then Derek could also be a train wreck or maybe he just sticks to the chronic and plays some great sets.

Hopefully he doesnt waste your time with the awkward, hard-to-follow, generally terrible, "analog" crap he's been working on. Hope for your sake he just sticks with the traditional live band and vibez out without spacing out like he's known to do (but you know, he's NEVER messed up at sets according to diehards, just feeling the music haha)

The Bumbershoot set from a couple of weeks ago is great. It's a different band, and I hope I get this both nights. It's Derek, Brian Coogan, Chris Carns, Borahm Lee and Alvin Ford Jr who I think replaced Glaspie as drummer for Dumpstaphunk. He brings a way different element than what you usually get with Deich who I admittedly fn love too, it's just different

Were you in New Orleans earlier this year? WOuld love to hear a comparison between Bumber(and his more recent shows) vs earlier this year. I haven't seen him this year but the videos from Nawlins is absolutely brutal.
Yeah. The Buku set was fantastic. The Joy after party was eclectic. I don't remember it, but I had fun. The Bumbershoot set though was a lot tighter overall though than what I remember. I'm guessing that since we get 2 nights for NYE it will be some kind of mix.
