They either play LN Which or pre-HL the What or Which. I would honestly prefer they run it a bit late to make sure it's completely dark by the time they play and then let them Pre-HL either stage (it would depend on who was headlining.) The XX would be a solid Pre-HL into the Weeknd.
I'm hoping for LN which or even the same slot as M83. Really wouldn't care for a What pre-headliner spot.
Do you think they'll let Jamie play any of his songs, or just The XX songs?
Has Roo ever booked Black Pistol Fire? If not they're missing out
I believe they played one of the cafe stages in 2014. Great band, I remember being bummed I had to miss their set. But there were a ton of great cafe artists that year.

Really think 2017's lineup will have a few from 2013 lineup. These specific acts haven't played Roo since 2013. Getting me really pumped for Roo next year.
Grizzly Bear- New album coming.
The xx- New album and touring.
Local Natives- Played minimal fests last year, and I feel like they'll be at Roo.
Pretty Lights- Seeing how he's playing Okee, he might be doing a south trek....man I hope so.
Jim James(solo)- New album and touring.
Porter Robinson- Seems to be hitting the south as well on his tour.
Dirty Projectors- Making their comeback. Makes perfect sense for Roo.
Alt-J- Somehow they'll have another new album next year, and seeing their popularity...why not?
Frank Turner- He is touring like a madman, and is sure to be playing fests next summer.
Japandroids- They're returning to the stage, and have a new album.
Swans- They're calling it quits soon, maybe a return?

As far as the undercard goes, I would just book every artist that played 2013 and hasn't played again since.

It would ensure that the undercard would be closer to anything other than 2016's undercard lol. Which I think is what most people want.
Roo's gotta get this chick K.Flay. She's like a combo of M.I.A. and Cat Power.
Man, from you saying that, I feel like there's no way she will live up to my hoes when I listen to her now. But, I'll be sure to give her a shot first thing tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion!

What are some good to great electronic based acts, that aren't EDM that you guys could see playing Roo next year. I'm talking Tycho, Bonobo, BadBadNotGood, Tennyson, Todd Terje, Hot Chip, so forth.

Chromeo. I think you can almost be sure about BBNG
Went to see STRFKR last night for my birthday. I am very hung over today. It was fun I think?
Happy late birthday dude.
Thanks sir. Its actually today so you arent late. I just went out for it last night and did shots when it hit midnight. So many shots. The sunlight hurts.

- Nicolas Jaar
- Francis & the Lights
- Kaytranada
- the Avalanches
- James Blake
- Panda Bear
Francis is absolutely outrageous live (in the best way possible) - I'd be extremely happy to even see half of these names on the lineup.
Sidenote: saw BBNG earlier this month - kind of a letdown. Instrumentation was really good for the most part, but the drummer talked way too much and kept trying to hype up the crowd. I felt like I was at a bad pop-EDM show at times.
